Deanna's POV
Kinuha ko ang tubig na inabot ni Glynn sa akin pagkatapos ng makaubos hiningang practice, feeling ko gusto kaming patayin ni coach. Ang hirap ng practice namin ngayon parang wala na nga akong tubig sa katawan sa sobrang pawis ko.
"Kaya pa?" Tanong ni Beatrice na siyang captain namin ngayon sa team, it's her last year kaya hindi na kami nagrereklamo kahit mahirap ang training.
We wanted the championship for the graduating students and for the school as well, malapit ng mag-umpisa ang interschool athletic games and we're training real hard.
"Anong mahirap don? Kulang pa nga eh... tara balik sa practice."
Bigla niya naman akong binatukan.
"Yabang nito, halos maubos na nga hininga mo eh. Pektusan kita gusto mo?"
"Binatokan mo na nga pepektusan mo pa, ano na lang ang maiiwan sa dignidad ko?"
"Hay, ewan ko sayo Deanna ligo na don may pupuntahan tayo."
"Kain?" My eyes lit up upon saying the word I'm most excited with.
"Patay gutom," she chuckled.
"Deannaaaaa...."
Napalingon akong bigla sa tumawag sa akin, lumaki ang ngiti ko ng makita si Gianna, my senior before but she just graduated last year.
"Ate Gin, anong ginagawa mo dito?" Excited akong yumakap sa kanya kahit hindi pa ako naliligo at basa pa ng pawis. Bakit ba tanggap naman ako nito kahit anong amoy ko. Haha
