Hiccup slowly opened his eyes to see the cell that surrounded him, feeling light headed and sick, now missing the warm and blissful feeling that came from his injection of Deathgripper venom,

"Ugh, what happened?" he asked himself as he tried to remember what happened after he was injected with the venom, yet he found he couldn't even vaguely remember how long it had been since he was given the choice between being drugged up with a dragon's venom or Toothless suffering. He ran his hand around his neck as confirmation of what little he remembered, feeling the leather collar and the now empty vials attached to the side as he suddenly realised why he had come to, the venom had ran out and what was left coursing through his body had finally worn off,

"Good morning Chief," he heard a voice ring out mockingly, soon coming in to view on the outside of his cell which seemed overly luxurious for a prison, he found there was a desk and chair pressed against one wall, the desk covered in rough sketches of what looked to be Toothless' head with something on that he was unable to remember designing despite it clearly being his penmanship that had drawn up the rough sketches, "It seems you're confused Hiccup, my newest pet trying to work out what happened since you were tied down, how he got here, and why I've let your pet Night Fury in with you," the same voice stated the obvious,

"Grimmel," Hiccup groaned, confirming the voice's identity of the man who he begged that it wasn't,

"Please, call me Master, you did choose it for me yourself-"

"No! No, I wouldn't do that, I would never call you Master, you're nothing but a delusional psychopath!" Hiccup shouted in protest,

"Oh? That's where you're wrong my new self-proclaimed pet-"

"Stop lying! It's not true, I know it's not!" The defenceless boy shouted once again, his mind in denial of everything he was being told, everything that matched up with the once blurry memories that were slowly coming back to him,

"You know it's true, I didn't even tell you to, you just started calling me Master all because of a little bit of venom, if I didn't know better I'd say the venom brought out a part of you that you've always wanted to come out," Grimmel mocked Hiccup, being fully aware that the only reason that the combination of his self confidence being non existent without his Night Fury by his side and his sense of worthlessness compared to the other Vikings, likely stemming from his difficult childhood, having only amplified the effect the venom had on his mind,

"What are those?" Hiccup asked as he pointed to the piles of drawings of the contraption on a Night Fury's head, not wanting to remember any more about how he had changed with just a single vial of venom coursing through his body,

"Those? Oh, I was so fond of how the venom had worked to make you my pet, your words not mine, that I wanted to see your Night Fury with the venom in it as well, see if it ended up like you as well. It felt much more fitting than making it just another corpse for the collection," Grimmel replied with a smirk he glanced through the designs Hiccup had made while being deep under his control,

"You said he'd be unharmed if I took the venom. You lied to me," Hiccup hissed as he pushed himself up and backed up towards Toothless, who had somehow managed to sleep through the whole ordeal,

"I said I wouldn't harm your pet, I never said anything about you," the grey haired, thin man responded with an almost sadistic laugh,

"I'd never hurt Toothless!" Hiccup quickly protested but only to be met with Grimmel laughing even harder until a few minutes had passed by and he had finally got a hold of himself,

"You designed a collar to do the same to him as yours did to you without a moments doubt, and you were planning to make it just before your vial ran dry. You'd do more than just harm him if I said to, I doubt there's nothing that would stop you from killing yourself if I just gave the word, no second thoughts, no resistance, just following my orders entirely, completely submitted to me. You couldn't fight back even if you only had, you wouldn't want to, it looked like you were enjoying every second the venom ran its course through you," Grimmel responded with a smirk that grew the more he saw the self-hatred mixed with denial growing behind Hiccup's eyes, "You know how much you loved the feeling, so tell me," he started as he reached into a pocket and, bringing fear to the front of Hiccup's mind, pulled out a new, glowing, full vial of venom, "What do you have to lose? I've given you little less than what I have in my own quarters, so why deny yourself that feeling again all for the sake of denying your dragon the same privilege, that same, how did you describe it, great feeling-"
