***Fred's POV***
"Percy!" I yelled, running up to my brother, protecting him from the Death Eaters that shot all kinds of spells towards us.
Percy was fighting as hard as he could to keep one away whilst I tried to protect us both from the Death Eaters. I was scared, and I saw that in Percy's eyes as well. We didn't know how much longer we could keep on fighting. We were beaten up. Bruised, cut, gashes. I felt like falling to the ground and giving up completely. I quickly turned to Percy to see him fighting someone.
"Hello, Minister!" bellowed Percy, sending a neat jinx straight at Thicknesse, who dropped his wand and clawed at the front of his robes, apparently in awful discomfort. "Did I mention I'm resigning?"
"You're joking, Perce!" I smiled as the Death Eater he was battling collapsed under the weight of three separate Stunning Spells.
I looked at Percy with glee.
"You actually are joking, Perce... . I don't think I've heard you joke since you were –"
All of a sudden, the only thing I could hear was the sound of something exploding, sending me flying through the air. I tried grabbing onto something to hold me from hitting something, but that never worked.
At that moment, the only people I could think about were Kaitlin and Y/N. I remember sending Kaitlin off to her first day at preschool, I remember the first I got to hold Kaitlin as Y/N looked at us both, with tears in her eyes as she smiled, I remember the first day I met Y/N, and the day I proposed to her.
Then that was it. I could only remember the smile on Y/N's face as she said 'yes.'
