So I delete the conversations each time

I try to forget you
I delete every social media so I might not stalk your account
And see the sweet reminders of what it used to be
You show up in my dreams
Someone mentions your name
Or asks if I'm okay
I try to act like I'm okay
And I say that i will be
But I think they see my eyes
You make this difficult
Just let me let you go
I try to distract myself with friends
And by endless hours of work
And outlets
But you show up there too
Memories
Replaying in my head
No one ever told me
That heartbreak would hurt this much
So let me save you something
Guard your feelings
Guard your heart
Keep it locked
