This is a short story based around Fujioka Rika and Mako Tadashi with events that took place before or during Himitsu. If you have not read Himitsu, I would strongly suggest that you read that book first; otherwise, major plot points may be ruined for you.
This story can be read before or after Musuko. Again, the story and culture are loosely based on 12th Century Japan. If you are an avid scholar of the time period, you will notice changes, and I apologize ahead of time.
Wondering how Rika and Tadashi first met? Wondering what their last days were like? This story will answer those questions and reveal more about the shogun's daughter and the man who took Amachi Junichi's place.
Enjoy the story and thank you for reading!
