Chapter 3

When I woke up all my brothers were standing over me.

"What is this" Michal said with half of my blunt in his hand.
" wow I don't know maybe I slept walk in here"
"Hazel grace stop acting stupid" June said with a stern look on his face Moe cut in.
" well since were all here hazel has something to tell y'all"
"No Moe no" I yell at him
"Fine I'll tell them hazel got raped that's what she was keeping from us"
All my brothers face were filled with anger.
" I HATE YOU MOE I can never trust you again" I yelled at him

I stormed off June tired to grab my arm. But I pulled away with all my force.
"Hazel talk to us please" jaylen yelled

I was steaming in anger. I thought I could trust him. He's a terrible person.  I locked my door and went in the bathroom and locked the bathroom. Then I heard footsteps in my room damn key.

"Hazel" Moe whisper barley hearing him
"Just leave me alone that's all I ask."

I took a shower and looked at my phone.
June: dinner is ready we are having a family meeting need everybody down here.
I wanted to throw my phone across the room when I saw that. Not wanting to go I managed to but pj's on and go down stairs. We all sat down. Moe sat next to me and I moved over.

" we need to all have a talk this family has been through a lot and to make something clear nobody will be leaving this table in till I say so. June announced
While he was saying this he looked at me and me only

" so hazel how long was it gonna take you to tell us"
" are you kidding me right now it was gonna take me enough time for me to wrap my head around what happen" I told him with attitude
" well you won't be keeping all the pain in you are gonna talk to someone"
" who cause the last person I talked to is a piece of shit and stabbed me in the back." I told June
"First off watch your mouth" I kinda laugh and rolled my eyes
"Can I leave now" I asked
"No were not finished" he carried on
"Hazel will no longer be going anywhere by her self that's also to and from school"

Anger filled my body.
"I'm not a little kid"
"Yes you are your only 16" jaylen said
"Well if I can't go anywhere, y'all have to stop selling drugs"
"That's none of your business nor do you have a say in what we do" Michal said
"Yes it is y'all are my brothers out here selling drugs"
"Stop well talk about this later" June voice getting more stern

"No since this meeting wants to be all about me let's talk about y'all for once.

" Hazel. Stop" Michal wispherd
"Fine" I just sat there with anger building up
"Can I speak June" Moe asked
"Yes"
"Hazel I want to say-"
I cut him off "don't want to hear it"
"Let him speak" June said

I didn't want to hear any shit he has to say to me I was tired of it. He starting talking again

"I'm sorry I know you weren't gonna tell. So I did they needed to know what happen to keep you safe. I didn't think it would hurt your feelings"

"Really Moe trusted you. Now I won't ever again. FUCK YOU" I screamed at him not caring at all
"Hazel to your room right now"June yelled back at me

I stomped upstairs to my room and set my alarm.  I was up all night tossing and turning my heart was racing. Then my alarm went off I was ruining off of maybe 2 hours of sleep. I put my hair in a messy bun put on jaylen oversized t shirt and leggings light makeup and headed down stairs and got a apple. Nobody spoke to me after last night. Moe came in he smelled like weed so bad.

"Moe go get washed up anyone could smell you a mile away" jaylen told him

He walked up stairs I tired my hardest not to make eye contact with him. But we did I caould see the tears that staind his face.

"Come on let's go" jaylen told me
"What about Moe"
"He'll just come later"

Then we got in the car.
"Are you okay" jay asked I usually call him that when he's not pissing me off
" I'm fine jay"
"Are you sure"
"Yes I'm sure"

The rest of the ride was silent it was only about a 7 minute drive and 15 minute walk. I usually walk to school to get away from my brothers. But now I can't even do that. I walked up to my best friend Haley

"Hey haven't talk to you since Friday" she said
"Just been going through stuff but I'm fine now"
As she was talking somebody came up to me

"Hey babygirl" the guy wrapped he's arms around me I heard that voice before just couldn't match the face and then I look up and froze in fear. It was one of the guys who raped me. He walked away but didn't forget to kiss me on the check before leaving.

" damn who's fine ass was that" Haley said

I just froze and ran to the bathroom a panic attack was coming. The 6th period bell went off I got my self together and was walking to class.
A strong hand grab my arm I winced in pain.
Sacred to look up. I realized it was Moe.

"Why aren't you in class" he asked
"I was in the bathroom"
"Hazel what's wrong"
"I got to get to class Moe"

I ran into class 10 minutes late. My phone lit up with a text from jaylen. It said hey I got to leave early so Moe is gonna take you home. Anger was building inside me. He's gonna bring up me being late. The day went by too fast. The final bell went off and I slowly walk to Moe car.
