Meet Me In South Korea || Extended One Shot

When I woke up, I saw kuya Eugene on my left side while his arms are folded, looking at me with his brows connected. Nagulat tuloy ako kaya napaupo ako.

"Gising na pala ang prinsesa. Alam mo ba kung anong oras na?" He said and sarcastically smirked. Nakakatakot talaga pag ganyan siya. Sheez.

"Huh?"

He pointed his thumb on my wall clock. I almost got choked with air. It's two in the afternoon! Nasapo ko ang noo ko. Magpapaliwanag sana ako kay kuya Eugene pero naunahan niya ako.

"'Yan kasi ang napapala ng mga matitigas ang ulo at nagpupuyat." He smiled sarcastically again.

"Hindi naman ako nagpuyat, ah!?" I shouted at him. He just tsked and went out of my room. Inirapan ko siya sa likod. Nanggigigil na talaga ako sa kapatid kong yan. Argh!

I went to the bathroom and took a bath. I didn't stay up late like, super late. I slept last night at eleven, how come I woke up this late afternoon? 

I only wore a black denim short and an oversized plain white shirt. As I went out of my room, there I saw my two brothers and Navy playing NBA. Pumunta nalang ako sa kusina at tinignan ang ref.

Navy noticed me while i'm getting my food. "Good morning Euni--- este good afternoon Eunice." He smiled widely.

"Whatever." He laughed. Pumunta ako sa microwave para painitin ang pagkain. Pagkatapos non ay pumunta ako sa outside living room at linapag ang plato sa mesa.

I'm now eating my lasagna. Mom's not over because she's on her flower shop. She's over there when sunday comes, so i'm expecting that she would come home late again at night, for around nine to ten, I think?

On my halfway through eating, I heard the three of them talked. I know it's bad to eavesdrop but there's nothing I can do about it since i'm near to them.

"How about Song Jaemin? Musta na ba kayo ng girlfriend mong yun?" I heard kuya Euran whispered. Tumigil ako sa pag-nguya pero agad ko namang tinuloy.

"Hindi ko nga alam kung girlfriend ko pa 'yon, eh."

In a span of time, I was chocked with water and the remaining on my mouth came out of my nose. I quickly covered the tissue on my mouth. I saw on my peripheral vision that the three of them looked at me, confused, I heard kuya Euran laughed.

"Got any prob with that, sis'?" Kuya Eugene asked while kuya Euran's laugh is echoing around the living room.

"H-Huh? Yung ano? With what? What are you saying?" I said with a nervous tone, shaking and stupidly mumbling stupid things on my mind. "May naalala lang ako." Palusot ko.

Then, I saw Navy smirked while looking down the floor.

Umirap ako. "Ugh. T-Tapos na ako." I said and stood up, but unexpectedly, the glass of cold water fell down, making a horrible sound. Nanlaki tuloy ang mga mata ko.

"Eunice! Tsk, such a clumsy duckling."

Out of my mind, I tried picking up the cracked glass on the floor, not knowing that my hands are now bleeding. I don't know what I am doing, and what's going on in my freaking mind?

"Aw.." Kuya Eugene pulled me up. He ordered kuya Euran to get the medical kit. Navy was standing there, and I have this urge to look at him to know what his face looks like right now.

"Eunicka Lean." Kuya Eugene said with a serious tone. I always get afraid when he gets serious. I can't look at him straight. Parang mas tatay ko pa nga si kuya Eugene kaysa sa mismo kong tatay.

While he was putting some medicine into my left palm, my mind was empty. I can't even feel the pain right now. I don't know if i'm feeling embarrassed or whatever. 

Naramdaman kong may nakatitig sa akin kaya I immediately looked at Navy who's sitting on our sofa while looking serious and straight into my eyes, elbows on his lap, one hand on his cheek, while the other one is playing with the car keys. My heart skipped a beat and I felt my chest pounded faster and faster.

"Tapos na. Ilalagay ko nalang---" Kuya Eugene stopped talking when I stood up and ran. "Eunice!"

"Okay na ako kuya! Thanks!" I closed the door of my room while my breathing was heavy.

Asdfghjkl.

I bet you don't know what I look right now. I'm screaming inside my head. Bakit ba pambihira ang ka-gwapuhan niya? Nakakainis! 

I felt a drop of sweat coming from my forehead. I held my chest that's beating ten times faster than normal.

I bet it's like this cuz' I ran.

I wish.

Please.

I went to my bed and layed down. Come to think of it, on the first day we met, I really felt awkward and nervous. A while ago, I choked when I found out that Navy has a girlfriend whose name is Song Jaemin. And I was out of my mind after that, making me feel crazy. I even picked the broken glass, am I stupid? And when he looked at me, with that strange stare thingy, I felt nervous. But why? Why..

Why am I feeling this?

It's like..

Like..

Uh..

Goddammit.

"Eunice?" I heard Navy cleared his throat. I remained silent. "Get ready, we're going to Tagaytay in thirty minutes."

I didn't speak up or answered. After a minute or two, I heard his footsteps faded, I sighed heavily. But what took him so long before walking away?

I only wore a simple maroon turtle neck and paired it with my favorite black. Maroon Nike is a must too! My door opened. I saw kuya Eugene standing with his grey shirt. "Oh, bakit ka nakabihis?"

My brows went connected. "Sasama ako, diba?"

"Hindi ka na pala namin isasama." He said making me burst out in anger.

"What!? Eh ano maiiwan ako ngayon!? Nakabihis na ako oh!" I shouted. But he furrowed his eyes, natakot tuloy ako.

"So you're talking back now, huh?" He raised his eyebrows. I gulped.

I remember when I was little, whenever kuya Eugene gets angry at me, I always cry like a poor kid. And that's what i'm feeling right now again. Please don't.

"Hindi na kami kasya sa sasakyan pag sumama ka. Madami kaming pupunta, hindi lang kaming tatlo. Hindi mo ba naisip 'yon?" I bowed my head lower and didn't answer. He's being like that again, serious and scary like crap.

"Dadating si yaya Minerva mamaya. Don't you dare go out this house, Eunicka. Mark my words." I heard the door opened and closed.

I slowly looked at myself in the mirror, being all dressed up. Now I have to change clothes again.

I heard the engine of the car started, a sign that they'll now leave.

I want to join them so bad. I want to be with--- no, scratch that. I want to go sees. I also miss Tagaytay and all the places out there!

"Hey boy.." Lash cuddled with me. Good thing that I have this lil' fluffball right here.
