Two kids sit in a boat on a partially frozen lake, the boy holding a spear and keeping a sharp eye on a fish in the water.

"It's not getting away from me this time." He says with a smirk.
"Watch and learn Katara. This is how you catch a fish." He raises the spear as his sister looks at him unimpressed before turning to see a fish swim in front of her. She removes her glove and takes a deep breath, very carefully waving her hand and pulling the fish out of the water in a bubble she controls.

"Sokka look!" She says enthusiastically.

"Shh Katara, you're gonna scare it away. Mmn, I can already smell it cooking."

"But Sokka, I caught one!" She moves the water bubble behind him and he raises his spear, popping it and splashing the water on his head and coat.

"Why is it every time you play with magic water, I get soaked?" He turns to her and asks, squishing his gloves and ringing out some water from them.

She sighs and says, "It's not magic, its water bending. And its-"

"Yeah yeah, an ancient art, unique to our culture, blah blah blah. Look I'm just saying that if I had weird powers, I'd keep my weirdness to myself." he rings out some water from his ponytail and reaches for his spear.

"You're calling me weird? I'm not the one who makes muscles at myself everytime I see my reflection in the water." She smirks making Sokka raise an eyebrow as he does exactly as she describes. Then both of them let out a small shout as their boat rocks. They notice that they're on a fast moving current between dozens of broken ice sheets. Sokka grabs his ore and starts trying to turn the boat before it hits any icebergs.

"Watch out!" Katara yells as they near several bergs closing in on them.
"Go left. Go left!"

They shout again as they jump up, their boat getting crushed to pieces. Sitting up, they noticed that they're trapped on an iceberg in the middle of the ocean.

"You call that left?" Katara asks sarcastically.
"You don't like my steering, well maybe you should've water bended us out of the ice." He motions his arms like how Katara does in a mocking way.

"So its my fault." She asks angrily, standing up.

"I knew I should've left you home. Leave it to a girl to screw things up." Katara glares and starts getting angrier.

"You are the most sexist, immature, nut brain, I'm embarrassed to be related to you!" she waves her hands behind her as she rants, not noticing that she's making large cracks in the iceberg behind her. "Ever since mom died I've been doing all the work around camp while you've been off playing soldier!" Another crack.

"Uh...Katara?" Sokka tries pointing behind her.

"I even wash all the clothes! Have you ever smelled your dirty socks? Let me tell you, not pleasant!" Two more cracks.

"Katara! Settle down!" He starts yelling.

"No! That's it, I'm done helping you! From now on, youre on your own!!" Several large cracks start breaking the ice to pieces. They gasp as it starts splitting and breaking. As it sinks, the waves push the ice they're sitting on back.

"Okay you've gone from weird to freakish Katara." Sokka says, removing his protective arm off of her from when he tried to keep her on the ice.
