sam chuckled. "he's just like any other west coast boy."
"then why is he special?"
"it's. . . he. . . there's never a dull moment. he's always smiling and trying to care for everybody around him. he looks like a puppy, he acts like a puppy. he's gentle and he's quiet. he's hard not to love."
it was clear that cas didn't know what sam was talking about. he squinted a little, trying to understand what he was saying.
sam chuckled again. "you wouldn't understand."
"no, i would. jimmy loved claire. i can still feel that."
"it's not the same." it could never be the same.
