Nervously, Clint clenched and unclenched his fists as Bruce gave the count down. The two of them shared a look; they knew where Clint was going. His gaze flickered to the others who were staring right at him, he gave a crooked smile before the feeling of falling overtook his body.

His body ached for a moment as he crouched on his knees and took in gulps of air before peering around. Sokovia. The sound of gunfire met his ears and his heart pounded in his chest- this was it.
Clint rose to his feet and swiftly scanned the area for Pietro. There.
"Don't!" he shouted, running towards the young man as fast as he could, hand outstretched as he caught Pietro's wrist before he took off to save his life. Pietro shook Clint off of his arm, before spinning around to see another Clint laying on the ground, holding a boy in his arms. Neither were breathing. "Clint..." he trailed off, turning back to the man beside him with wide eyes. "What is going on?" he asked. Clint just announced,
"You didn't see that coming." making Pietro smirk slightly but it fell quickly, confusion taking over his face. "But, you just died." he said. Clint was going to speak when a beeping interrupted him. "Hold your breath and hold on." he ordered, pulling Pietro into his chest before disappearing on the spot.

They landed on the ground, Pietro gasping for breath as he rolled onto his back. None of the Avengers knew what to say, only stared at the boy they thought they had lost.
Clint got to his feet and held a hand out for Pietro. "You alright kid?" he asked. But Pietro looked at the Avengers, and noticed that they seemed much older than before. "What is going on?" he questioned again, looking to Clint for an explanation. "It's one hell of a story. This is a few years into the future-"
"Am I not here?" he asked, his tone quiet. The Avengers shook their head no, most of them still adjusting to seeing someone they thought was dead standing in front of them; breathing.
"Where is Wanda? I need to see her." he demanded, jumping off of the platform and turning to face the Avengers who avoided his gaze.
