Referencing in my mind

So today in history, my teacher was showing us a comic about... Some sort of US history thing. There was a tree that said Liberty Tree on it and a rope to hang someone along with a bunch of people.

My fangirl self thought of one thing when I saw that.

THE HANGING TREE!!!

Then I started singing the hanging tree song in my head.... best history class of the year so far😉
