The sequel to "Gloves" for the requester!

48. Secret

What was she doing? She knows she can't avoid them for much longer. (Y/n) dug her nails into her palm. It would only be a matter of time before they would catch her. She hoped she would be ready then. Everyone has their secrets and she wasn't ready to share hers just yet.

~~~
The world meeting started as it always did, chaotic. Although, strangely, both America and England were quiet. They were quiet enough that many of the other nations noticed.
"W'at is wrong, Angleterre?" France asked as some of the other nations got into a fistfight.
[Angleterre: England (French)]
"I'll talk about it later, frog," England grumbled but it lacked any real hatred.
"It must be important if you are not even arguing wit' me," France noted.
England glared at him but didn't respond. France didn't expect him to. Everyone had their own secrets and England entitled to his own as much as France was.
~~~

"Talk, stupid American," Russia called.

"Shut up, commie bastard," America groaned, "Not today."

"Why not?" Russia asked, taking a sip of vodka.

America eyed him and sighed, "You'll see."

Russia smiled. This day will be an interesting one for sure.

~~~
"Has zhere been an issue, England?" Germany questioned.
"I saw (Y/n)," England said bluntly.
"The former messenger?" Germany raised an eyebrow.
"Yes," England nodded, "I suppose you wouldn't know her all too well considering how young your country is."
"Ja, I have only heard of her from stories."
"Understandable. She seemingly disappeared after the second world war."
"Until now," Germany said, "And I suppose you vant to tell zhe other nations?"
"Yes, they deserve to know," England wistfully sighed.
"She sounds like she was very important to jou."
"She was," He murmured.
~~~

"I saw (Y/n) yesterday."

Who knew such a simple statement would cause more chaos than what was already going on? Noise erupted from the nations, questions rapidly being asked.

"How is she?" Liechtenstein tilted her head off to the side.

"No wonder you didn't want to argue today!" France exclaimed dramatically.

"Capitalist pig, this is what you were talking about too, da?" Russia smiled ominously.

"Where is-a she?" Italy asked.

"It's been a while since we've seen her," Belgium remarked.

"I hope she's doing alright, eh?" Canada smiled softly.

"It would be so nice to see her again!" Spain clapped his hands together.

"No wonder she-a left because you were all jerk bastards," Romano scoffed.

"Shut up!" Germany yelled over the crowd, "Ve vill sort zhis out without so much noise."

And so, everyone settled down in their seats but not really since the revelation of (Y/n) being alive is figuratively fresh on their minds. After she disappeared, it was assumed she died since she wasn't a country but she wasn't exactly human either. No one knows why she was seemingly immortal like the countries but they supposed it was another secret.

"Do you know where (Y/n) is now?" Japan inquired as he raised his hand.

England quickly began to speak, "Perhaps. I believe she is still in my country however she could have easily gone to another between today and yesterday."

"Should we arr search for her?" Japan asked as he raised his hand.

England paused, "Somewhat. I suppose we could go back to our own countries and wait for her. We should be able to feel her presence when she is in our country."

"So, we wirr just be sitting ducks for a whire," Japan nodded along.

Conversation erupted as the nations murmured amongst themselves.

"They really didn't think this through, eh?" Kumajiro looked up towards Canada.

Canada nervously chuckled, "Yeah..."

Now, won't this be interesting?

End!

I'm still alive. Yay. School's ending a few weeks.
