1. i missed you

i sighed as my sister, mom, and I approached the driveway of the curry family. I noticed that they had painted their house to a light brown and the garden was full of bright colourful flowers. a lot of things had changed last time i was here, which was when i had my fight with wardell, himself.

i stilled wondered how he was doing, i always have. was he passing math? being a role model to his slidings? not getting late? eating on time? doing his homework? I cared so much and i knew i would never stop. I looked down at myself seeing that i was wearing my light blue bodycon dress, that my mother had forced me in.

i look over at the driveway seeing wardell's car wasn't there, he wasn't home.

in a matter of seconds the door flew open revealing ms.curry, wow i did really miss her smile. mr.curry soon approached the door smiling as his eyes met mine.

"the brown family!" ms.curry hugged my mother

"i love the work you did to your home" my mother skope

"thank you bethany, we really thought it was the best time to do it during this season" dell, mr.curry, explained

"wow the girls have grown up so much!" sonya, ms.curry, admired me and my bratty sister

"sydel is so excited to you, along with seth" dell said letting us enter, taking us to their backyard.

"i am too! I haven't seen them in so long!" alison, my sister, cheered

as my mother went to help soyna with 'mom stuff' i went outside to their enormous backyard, viewing how many people were here, including the basketball team from school. I quickly turned my back away from them, knowing i really didn't want their attention.

I quickly began walking towards the door that lead inside, but i was stopped by someone. I looked up seeing klay.

He looked at me from the bottom to top having a huge smile. He hugged me so hard that he could break my bones.

"Jordyn!" klay shaked my shoulders making me laugh. I just hope wardell isn't here, i really don't want to see his face

"hi klay" i smiled

"I... haven't see you in forever" he said

"i know, but i should really go before-"

"JORDYN!!" i heard draymond as he was running towards us. he soon picked me off the ground, spinning me around causing me to scream

"DRAYMOND DON'T DO THAT" i yelled as he put me back on the ground

"Ha, you wish" he crossed his arms

"Dam jordy is looking good" he smirked causing me to blush

"don't call her jordy.... only he calls her that" klay said quietly

"klay...." i looked down feeling my cheeks get warm, knowing he was talking about stephen

"i know he hates it when people call you that, i'm just trying to respect his word" klay put his hand on my shoulder

"is he here?" i crossed my arms waiting for a answer

"he went to get aye-"

"no he isn't here" draymond kicked him in chest as he finished the sentence for him

"bro what the fuck was that for?" klay pushed him for pay back

"sorry" he laughed highing my hand

"i hate you guys" klay rolled his eyes
