Chapter 16 :  The parents

It has been months since Mean and Plan  finally became a couple. It has been known that Plan's fiancé also has her own lover.

When news broke that Mana's family broke off the engagement, Mr. and Mrs. Kijworalak was angry.  The deal that made years ago was void. This has ruin the family's planning.

"WHAT?!... WHO IS AT FAULT?" Mr. Kijworalak said slamming on the dinner table.  It happens that Plan was having dinner at his parent's house

"Dear,  who is Manasproy's lover? Do you know?"  His mom asked Plan. Plan shrugs not caring about the dismissal of the engagement.

To be honest, Plan was already tired of all the dramas. Ever since his mother lied to him about Mean, he has lost all respect for his parents.

" Don't worry Plan, we will find you another girl. Don't be sad" says his father.

Plan rolls his eyes /I don't need one, I already have Mean/

"Uuh.."  Plan nodded and keeps eating his dinner.

" Sigh... if your sister was here, she might know how to handle this humiliation"  His mother sigh on the fate of the family

"DO NOT MENTION HER. SHE IS NO LONGER A PART OF THIS FAMILY"  Mr. Kijworalak was furious. The beginning of the fall of the family's reputation began from P'Prim.

She was promised to marry into a foreign investor but since she eloped with the next door neighbor, her father disowned her in a heartbeat.

Plan looked at his father's reaction, just for fun, he wanted to see if he can add fuel to the already burning fire

"I met P'Prim a few months back, when I accidentally fell from the stairs.. she treated me"  Plan said looking at his father just to see his reaction

"Oh really? How is she doing dear, I miss her so much, is she doing well?"  Mrs Kijworalak interrupted his observation

His father was still enraged by that name, he walked away from the dining table leaving his dinner meal untouched

Plan smirk,silently he salutes his sister for being the rebel of the family.

" Dear,  I am asking how is P'Prim doing?"  His mother interrupted again

"She is fine Mom, she is happy living with her wife"  Plan said without caring for his mother's feelings

"I am glad, she is doing fine and she is happily married to Nong Lemon"  said the mother. Plan can feel his mother really regrets letting his sister go.

"Mom, why didn't you stop P'Prim from leaving? Why did you let dad do this to her?"  Plan asked.

His mother just looks at him and brush his hair and gave Plan a soft kiss on the head.

"It wasn't your dad who disowned her, it was me..."  His mother said, the tone of regret and sadness mixed as she said her answer

"What?!"  Plan said looking up at his mother who had her hand around his shoulder

"That's right, your father didn't want to throw her away, all he wants to do was to bribe Lemon's family to move away, but I was impatient, I told her to break off with Lemon or else she has to get out of the house"  His mother looks down and tears began to shed

"When she defended herself to her father, I slapped her, that's - That's why she left.., because it is my fault she left.."  His mom felt regret taken over for years
