Ok, so this is the second theory in this book involving a musician allegedly being killed by the C.I.A. The conspiracy theory I will be discussing today is the theory that the C.I.A had something to do with the death of famous reggae musician Bob Marley. The theory goes that when Bob Marley died, the circumstances of his death were odd. He died from malignant melanoma which was caused by an injury to his toe from a soccer match. The theory also says that the injury was caused by the shoes he was wearing, which allegedly were designed to poison him, using a poison coated piece of copper wire. The C.I.A set their sights on him in the 1970's because of his growing legacy and influence, which was their reasoning for having him "dealt with". They allegedly tried to take him out with gunmen, but Marley survived, resulting in the "shoe incident", as I like to call it.
In total, I give this theory 4.5 strawberries out of 5, because it's very believable, but there's not a whole lot more evidence to back it up
