Salutations friend,
You know who this is. Well, you should.

I wrote this to tell you how much I'll miss you once I'm gone. No matter what happens, you'll always be in my heart, and in my head, telepathically telling me what to do. Promise me, if I do something stupid, you won't follow my path. It was probably meant to happen for a reason.

Knowing you, this letter is being read in 2019, 2020, even. I don't blame you. If I were you, I'd probably burn the box, because my friend had left me, leaving behind only a little capsule of our memories together. I'm sorry, very, very sorry. I don't want to leave you. But I have to. You'll soon understand. Or someone will end up telling you if you don't crack the code. But you're smart, and I believe in you.
Just remember our last words, that should help.

Yes, I did get Ben to sneak into your room and put this letter in our little box. And yes, I could've mailed it to you, but it would've lost its touch.
Bye for now.
I'll see you on the other side
-P
