A soft, melodic ding sounded throughout the noisy shop as Jimin entered the little cafe per usual.

He breathed in, the delicious smell of coffee beans warmly greeting his nose. A bright smile on his face.It was another joyful day, and as usual he felt very cheerful.

More so it was because the last several days things had been surprisingly going quite well for him. He would go to the shop to enjoy his coffee before going to work. Or what he considered to be, hell.

Now, it wasn't the work that he considered hell. It was the people. He had noticed how one by one there would be people, male and female, walking up to his desk, asking how he was doing, letting a flirty remark, wink, etc. All of which Jimin would only return a shrug or a one word reply.

His neighbor, though annoying at times, was quite fun to be around, cracking a dad joke here and there. Too be honest, he was the only person whom Jimin felt comfortable around in there.

Overall, it was pretty enjoyable. No one noticed his identity yet, which was a plus. His parents were still searching in the rich cities, so he didn't have to move yet. And, he managed to, or rather unwillingly forced, to make a friend(but, he wasn't going to complain, Jin was a good stress reliever, besides Hoseok and coffee.)

He hoped that it would always remain enjoyable before his problems would come and ruin it all. Hoped that life wouldn't ever change and never would. Unfortunately, fate was a cruel mistress, and didn't care.

And, unbeknownst to Jimin, he would never have guessed what was soon charging his way.

Which was why there was now a look of shock replacing his joyful smile.

There was a man. Sitting at his table. In his chair. And the worst thing is, the only available seat in the whole damn shop was the chair. At. His. Table. Next to the man. Usually if it was some random stranger sitting there Jimin wouldn't have minded. After all, he was friendly with people.

But this wasn't just any man. It was the man that Jimin had always spotted staring at him from day one. The man that nearly scared the crap out of him when he first visited the shop.

And now, he decided to sit at Jimin's table. To say that Jimin wasn't the least suspicious would be a big, fat lie. After all, the man could be a rapist or a mafia leader for all he knew.

"Maybe I can bring my coffee to work?" He thought, soon crossing that idea off. Chances were if he did he wouldn't even be able to reach the workplace without spilling the coffee. And in that bustling place? That, combined with Jimin's strange clumsiness(he managed to hit himself in the head with his leg one time), would equal a spill disaster. He could imagine putting his coffee on his desk, and some clumsy worker would visit him and elbow it, spilling it all over his work. Or worse, on his clothes.

So, aiming for a more safer, alternate route, he chose to sit at the table. If the man seemed too suspicious, then he would run out of there at the speed of light and possibly never come back to the shop. Of course, if that did happen, he would unfortunately have to drink old, processed coffee beans in a bag, which he despised.

Weaving his way through people and tables, he soon reached his table. He put his coffee cup on the table, while the man seemly ignored him only paying attention to the cars outside. Little did he know that the man had already noticed him from the moment he entered the shop.
