29.O Your ego and you

It didn't take Billie long before she started calling Zoe after her posting the picture of me on Instagram. She seemed really upset about the fact that we were chilling together.

"Okay ,here she is." Zoe turned the phone towards me when i raised up my eyebrows questioning why i had to talk to her. I took the phone and looked outside. "Oh hi, i didn't know you were calling." I spat at her.

"Fucking hell Lana, why are you two hanging out?" You could hear her yell, her voice was very high pitched. Probably of panicking too much.

"I can hang with whoever i wanna hang."

"Fuuuuuck, you really wanna get hurt dont you.."

"Fuuuuuuuck you already hurt me bitch." I said very cold. She seemed suprised by my respond and didn't answer. "Good luck with your life Billie, i don't want to be a part of it anymore." I ended the call and i felt my eyes started to water, ofcourse i was hurt by her yelling at me. And now that its different i'm hurt even more. It meant we're not on cool terms, not now, not tommorow, not ever. I stood up from my chair and grabbed some money from my purse. I threw it on the table towards Zoe. "It was fun love, but i'm going now." I pressed a kiss on her cheek before going to my car to head home.

I parked the car in front of the house and i picked up my phone who has been buzzing ever since i laid it down in the passengers seat.

I decided to call her back, and a little smile formed on my lips when she picked up. "I'm so sorry, i was driving home." I apologized to her while i got out of the car to get into my apartment. I unlocked the door to get in. I listened to Maggie talking. "So Lana, we're throwing a little family party tommorow. And we'd wonder if you would like to come." I walked up the stairs and paused in the middle of the room. "Uhm, i don't think Billie would like it to be honest."

"It's okay love, i asked her." Yeah she'd probably did hours before she tried to call me. "Will Claudia be there?" I asked her while biting my lip of my anxiety that tried to crawl into my skin again. "Ofcourse." She stated so i nodded. "Okay i will be there. I'll text her that i'm coming."

We ended the call after Maggie became really excited about me coming to the party and wished me a goodnight. I sit down on the couch and started to wander around about the party, and what i was gonna wear. It was gonna be a simple get together with many family members and friends. I was excited, but the fact that Billie was gonna be there with Madison would still upset me, i was still thinking about how i was gonna react towards her while i was brushing my teeth, washing my face and dressing myself in my PJs.

Deep inside i wanted to say sorry for hanging with Zoe, but at the same time i didn't. Zoe could also refuse to come, but she didn't. So there wasn't a problem. I rolled myself to the side of the bed to check once again my phone, i didn't had any messages so i sighed and turned it down on my nightstand. We just had to see what was gonna happen tommorow.

I woke up early in the morning to get ready, the anxiety that i felt coming finally arrived. Great, just great. Scared to not knowing what the day would bring I sat down on the couch, I turned on the tv and watched some Rick and Morty. After that i had some coffee and breakfast, and walked into my bedroom. The outfit that i was gonna wear was all set and ready for myself to get dressed in, it was an basic black top with and a pantalon. I was wearing my barret with it after I put in my clip in extensions.

I put on some back makeup, and looked at myself in the mirror. Mission; shock Madison was ready to go. I took a picture of myself in the bathroom mirror and posted it on Instagram afterwards.
