Letting out a relieved sigh Sakura let the hot water from the shower run down her head and stream over her petite feminine body. This was one of her favorite parts of her day. After finishing a long shift at the hospital she finally gets a few relaxing minutes to herself to let the stress and tension from the day in all her muscles flow out of her and wash down the drain. Taking on the role of a lead surgeon here at the village's main hospital has turned out to be a bigger job than she could've ever imagined. But it was also more rewarding than she could've ever dreamed. In just a short few years she went from being just another aspiring kunoichi who just wanted to prove her worth as a female ninja here in the village, to being one of the most respected medical ninjas to ever be in the field and considered to be one of the great heroes to have fought in the Fourth Great Shinobi War. She was admired by all the young girls of the village, and now that she was a twenty-one year old woman grown, she was starting to be lusted after by most of the village bachelors. Which was too bad for them, because she was very much happily engaged to the most admired person in all of Konoha. She couldn't help but smile to herself when thinking about what it will finally feel like to be called Mrs. Sakura Uzumaki.

After her shower she finished drying off in the ladies locker room and changed into her usual civilian clothes. Too tired to completely dry her now waist length pink locks, she resorted to pulling it back in a simple ponytail just to keep it out of her face. Naruto insisted on her keeping it long. He loved her hair, well to be honest he loved everything about her and never failed to remind her of that on a daily basis. But he seemed to be especially fond of her uniquely pink hair. Especially when they were in the middle of particularly more intimate times. He loved to run his fingers through it and wrap it around his hand to pull her closer to him. She couldn't help but blush as those thoughts crossed her mind on her walk home. It was well past most people's bedtimes, so no one was on the roads to glance at her curiously for her sudden rosy cheeks. She just couldn't help it, but lately her thoughts of Naruto always seem to turn into heated ones quicker and more often than usual. She could only assume it was due to their wedding date growing closer and closer and that they will soon be able to experience what lying together as man and wife will finally be like.

It's not like they couldn't have slept together already, it's just that they both wanted it to be as special as possible and there was no need to rush it. I mean there were other ways to release sexual frustration that didn't exactly involve the actual act of intercourse. And trust her, they have done everything except that. It's just the idea that it is so close to finally happening that it's like her body just can't control itself anymore. That and with her working such long shifts at the hospital and Naruto constantly helping with the preparations for Kakashi sensei's induction as the sixth Hokage, they haven't had much time to see each other let alone have any intimate time. Stopping in front of her apartment door she sighed through her frustration and told herself it looked like another night of trying to relieve herself was her only option again.

Letting herself in she left her shoes and her bag at the door and walked down the short hallway to her bedroom without turning a light on. She had her whole tiny apartment memorized from living here for three plus years now. She couldn't wait until her and Naruto tied the knot so they could move into what is going to be their marital house together. Just one more thing she has to wait for, she thought grumpily as she stripped out of her red civilian dress and white pants to get ready to climb into her bed in just her bra and underwear like usual, when she was tackled from behind by a hard body easily twice her weight. Sakura let out a feminine shriek as she was shoved face first into her comforter. If it wasn't for the fact that she instantly recognized the chakra signature now pulsing through the small bedroom she would've been putting up a much stronger fight. Instead she stilled her body as the familiar one pressed itself harder on top of her.
