"Hey, you okay in there? Need any help with the zipper?" Temari's voice carried through the door to the bridesmaid's tent where Hinata was currently changin .

"NO!..I'm, I'm okay! Almost finished!." Hinata hurriedly replied as she stared at her reflection in the floor length mirror in a mixture of embarrassment and horror. She didn't know that after sending Naruto and Sakura off on their honeymoon that the rest of the wedding party was supposed to bring something less formal to change into for the remainder of the reception. She had told her friends that she would be fine just wearing her kimono until she went home later, but Ino had eagerly insisted that she use her spare dress that she had packed. Leave it to Ino to make sure she had plenty of options. Well, continuing to take in her appearance in the mirror, Hinata definitely agreed that this was for sure an Ino dress. It definitely wasn't something that Hinata would have ever bought for herself.

The dress was a light lavender color and was made from a thin, and very sheer fabric. When it caught the light inside the tent, you could see the faint glow of her pale skin through the fabric. Two thin straps resting against her very exposed skin on her shoulders was all that held it on her. What made her cringe the most was how the front of the dress exposed a part of her that Hinata had never felt comfortable showing off. Where most women loved, and just couldn't wait for their bodies to finally mature from adolescent ones to more shapely, and desirable ones, Hinata had dreaded it. When the heavy swells of her breasts began developing, she did everything she could to hide them. Wearing tight mesh under her clothes to try and compress them and keep them from moving uncomfortably during her trainings, and covering herself with bulky jackets during her younger years, Hinata tried her hardest to hide her curves. She definitely didn't want to attract any male attention then either. Exposing herself at the hot springs in front of all the other woman had been one thing to overcome, but now she was going to have to stand in front of everybody like this. All the guys would be there. And Sasuke...

The thought of him made her pale skin flush in the soft light. What would he think of her unusual appearance. He didn't strike her as a man that would be so affected by a woman's body. Remembering the dangerous look in his dark eyes when she was sprawled out on the bed covered by nothing but her damp towel, a warm feeling stirred deep in her belly. But even then, he didn't take advantage of her vulnerable state. Nervously fidgeting with the straps on her dress, hoping that more fabric would appear, she heard the flap to the tent open.

"Okay, I'm coming in...what's wrong...whoa." Turning to meet the blonde woman, Hinata felt herself blush as her friend's green eyes took in her scantily dressed form. "You look amazing Hinata."

"Th-thanks..." Crossing her arms in front of herself, she glanced back at her appearance one last time. Letting out a small sigh, she put her best smile on her face and turned to follow the sand kunoichi back to the reception area.

Walking into the illuminated reception area, Hinata continued to walk a few paces behind Temari, trying to hide herself behind her friend's form. She watched as Shikamaru walked back from the bar area over to them with Choji beside him carrying two plates full of food. He greeted his wife and clasped her hand, and cheerfully greeted Hinata. His lack of response to her appearance filled Hinata with hope that maybe it wouldn't be as big a deal as she thought.

"Hey Temari, Hinata!....Whoa, Hinata." Choji's mouth fell open as he took in her appearance. The little balloon of hope in her chest instantly deflated. "You look awesome! Want some grilled pork? The cooks here are amazing!"

"No..not thank you Choji." Hinata was hyper aware of all the other curious glances coming from the rest of the tables. Some were heated ones from the men, and a few were ones of jealousy and mild anger from the women. This was the reason she hated that she had been given such a curvaceous body. She hated all the attention it gave her. She had always been perfectly fine being the wall flower of the group and just disappearing into the background, allowing someone like Ino to stand in the spotlight. Casting a nervous glance around the room as Temari talked to Shikamaru in front of her, her eyes finally met the pair she had been anticipating seeing the most. Sasuke's.
