⁂HER HAND GRIPPED ONTO the graveling hook from her belt, pointing it up at the ceiling of the helicarrier. Pressing down on the trigger, her falling body comes to a complete stop. Hands grip onto her ankle and she glances down to see one of the agents gripping onto her tightly. Half of her wants to pull him up — help him, but sensing by the nerve-racking grin on his lips and the way he was rather trying to pull her down instead of pulling himself up, the brunette got the hint he wanted to take her down with him. After all, it'll be one less Avenger for the God of Mischief to deal with.
Weighing out her options and finally making her decision, her combat boot slams down on the man's head, momentarily stunning him and causing his grip to loosen. As a groan of slight pain and soreness, due to the pressure building up in her arm, she raises her free ankle and slams it against her other ankle, his fingers getting smashed. A pain cry escapes his lips and his eyes widen when his grip loosens, his body reaching out to her before disappearing in the clouds. Luckily for him, in a twisted way in some sort of sense, he would be dead before he even went splatter against the ground. His heart will go out — out of pure fear.
Pressing the button on the graveling hook, her body flings upwards. The super soldier was on his hands and knees, his face in pure shock and pain that he watched a member of his team fall to her death — despite the fact he's only known this girl for nearly less than ten hours, it was still painful for him to watch. Fighting the PTSD shocks from seeing his best friend fall to his death many years ago, he struggles to get Tony to go after her.
Tony groans out, his eyes rolling as he continued to try and spin the blade. "It's Raegan, she has a knack for doing these type of things. she'll be fine, don't worry about your crush on her and help me!"
Yet, Steve didn't move from his spot. Biting on his lower lip he leans back onto his heels, ready to call in to the rest of the members on board that Agent Black has sadly died, only for his face to quickly light up when he notices the brunette holding onto the graveling hook that was continuing to roll up.
She gives him a slight goofy grin, her fingers wiggling. "Hi captain." Giving her a disbelief smile, he doesn't waste any reaching over the edge and grabbing onto her body, pulling her onto the platform with him. Patting his buffed shoulders before stepping out his grasp, she perks up an eyebrow. "You look like you've just seen a ghost."
"I think I did." Steve's eyes were still wide in shock from what he witnessed, and mouth ajar. Not once in his lifetime has he seen a woman take care of herself like the way Raegan just had. "That was attractive." The words fell out of his mouth like throw up —he didn't mean for it to slip out. His cheeks start to turn pink, his eyes widen once more, pure embarrassment filling up his features and in his gut. "Uh. . ."
