What a simple night

What a simple night,

it is tonight,

the snow on the trees and on the forest bellow,

reaches as far as the eye can see,

the aurora on the horizon of the heavens,

and the twinkling starlight upon the darkened sky,

is beautiful to any eye,

as I wander through this winter forest,

I ponder,

I ponder of all the little great tasks I must do,

What a simple night,

it is tonight,

and a beautiful one at that,

I sit down to rest as I close my eyes,

and I can almost see and hear,

the little chirps of delight,

Coming from everything and everywhere,

What a simple night it is tonight.
