The inevitable

Peter's POV
I slowly slip my bag from my left shoulder onto the couch. I let out a nervous chuckle while I turn to my bag to get that nights homework. Once all my stuff is gathered up into my arms I slowly turn around to face the group again. The smirks had remained on each of their faces as I eventually took a seat on the couch beside my bag. Just as my pencil met the math paper I here Mr. Stark clear his throat and in response look up from my work. I give him a nervous smile and laugh awkwardly. "So I hear you are going on a field trip on friday." his smirk turns into more of a grin as I nod my head hesitantly. All of the rest of the avengers share a look with each other. "Well considering the fact that your field tip is here how about we make an appearance during your little tour, might be able to get out of some meetings if I say that I was helping with a tour." he mumbled the last part but we heard him anyways. I slowly shook my head, " that's okay Mr.  Stark I'm sure you all will be needed elsewhere during the tour." I say nervously. "Whatever you say kiddo, I'm going to go get dinner ready so go ahead and relax." Mr Rogers said as he turned towards the kitchen and walked away. Everyone began to withdraw from the room though the smirks that they had remained. After I finished my school work I headed over to join Mr. Stark in his lab. The rest of the day went by pretty quick. Mr Stark and I worked on something in the lab till dinner was done, and after dinner we all played games and joked about with each other. Eventually though I had to head home. May is surprisingly strict with the amount of time that I am allowed to spend with the avengers, Mr Stark in particular. Guess the whole Germany thing caused her to be more than a little bit irritated with Mr Stark. But I mean you can't really blame her for being concerned about my well being. As I fall asleep I continue to think about what might happen on Friday because of my favorite group of people and a certain highschool bully of mine. This is going to be a complete disaster.
