Chpt:2 Face Masks and Blackmail

Keith POV

Ever since the handcuff exercise me and lance has gotten closer. We fight less and we talk much more. That's why I'm standing outside his room. Lance asked me during training if he wanted to hang out. Of course I said yes. I finally knocked on the door and wait for lance to answer.

I hear a muffled "I'm coming." Then some shuffling and a loud crash. Lance opens the door out of breath and says "Hey mullet I see you showed up." I would say something about the nickname, but I'm starting to like it. "Cane I come in?" "I don't know can you." "Common lance let me in."

I smile as he opens the door all the way and lets me in." So what do you have planned?" I question. Lance just smiles and tells me to sit down while he gets something from the bathroom. I do what he told me and sit on the edge of the bed.

Again I hear shuffling. After a few minutes and some giggles coming from the bathroom lance walks out with his arms behind his back. "What are you holding?" Lance then shows me what he is holding. He has a basket of face masks, hair products, and makeup. "No we are not doing that."

"Come on Keith please." "No I am not doing that." "At least for the face masks." Of course he does the puppy dog eyes. How can I say no when he looks so cute. "Fine but only the face mask." Lance cheers as he grabs two face masks and puts the rest back in the bathroom.

Lance POV

I cant believe keith actually said yes. I really didn't think he would. I was just going to watch a movie with him, but when I walked into the bathroom I couldn't help but try. I rush out of the bathroom not wanting to keep keith waiting. When I walk out the bathroom I see keith looking at a photo of my family. "That's my family in Cuba." Keith jumps at the sudden noise.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to snoop." I walk over to him at point at the photo. "That's my older sister Vanessa. My two younger brothers who are twins. Their names are Romeo and Joseph. Of course that's me with my lover boy looks and finally that's my mom."

Keith sits there for a second taking all the information then he asks. "What about your dad?" I sigh. Its hard for me to talk about this subject, but with keith I feel like I can. "He died when I was 4 so I don't remember much about him." " I'm sorry." "There's nothing to be sorry about it not your fault. What about your family." Keith gets silent at this question for a few seconds before he spoke.

"My dad died in a car accident when I was three and I have never meet my mom. Shiro adopted me when I turned 8 and he has been my brother ever since." There was silence for a second before he suggested that we start the face mask. I happily obliged wanting to change the mood.

This is a disaster. Keith does not know how a face mask works. "Keith...keith. Stop let me help you. I grab the face mask or what left of it. Half of it is in the bag half of it is on him. I grab a handful and tell him to stand still. Right when it touches him he giggles. Keith giggled. I couldn't help but blush. Keith is so serious all the time and to see him drop his guard around me means a lot.

Once I finished his face mask he offered to do mine. At first I was nervous because of how he put on his, but he did really good. He may of dropped a few clumps and got it in my nose, but other then that it went well. After we cleaned up our mess we went back to the bedroom.

Keith POV

When we started to walk back to the bedroom I touched my face and lance yelled at me to not touch it or it would get messed up. I tried to tell him it itched but he said that sounds like a personal problem. So here we are sitting on the bed trying to find something to do. "How about we play life!" Lance literally screams.
