if you really knew me you would know
how many hours of sleep i have lost for you.
you would know how many pillows i have
soaked with my tears.
you would know how many texts ive hit
delete on, rather than hitting send.
you would know that my day starts and
ends with you.
you would know how many times you
cross my mind in a single day.
and you would know that it's you.
that it has always been you.
even in your worst moments,
even in your best.
you would know it's always been me on
your side, despite all this pain you have
put me through.
you would know it has always been me.
and if you really knew yourself,
you would've know that you should have
never picked her,
when you could have had me.
