3AM Thoughts

I couldn't sleep so I started watching random videos on YouTube. It started out on a lighthearted note.(wholesome moments, vine compilations)

I ended up watching a short documentary about Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz; a kid from the Bronx who got fatally beaten and stabbed multiple times in a gang related crime.

I then, stumbled upon a journalist who was held captive by Somalian pirates for 2 years. (I forgot his name lmao)

The next video I ended up watching about Angola; the country with the highest infant mortality rate.

Then Honduras where toxic masculinity is really prominent and women are treated like they're disposable. The video included Ms. Honduras who was fatally shot multiple times along with her sister by her sister's boyfriend.

I've realize how lucky I am to live in America, let alone a good neighborhood (despite being a city ranked as one of America's most dangerous cities.)
