PERSONALITY: Iris is a very gentle girl. She isn't known to step out of line or cause a lot of conflict. She doesn't like being too out there because she is a lower ranking caste and she would probably be told to just stick to he job anyway. Iris doesn't really know how to act around people that she isn't waiting on or serving and she struggles with breaking out of that always helpful won't speak unless spoken to attitude. Iris is extremely awkward, but she loves meeting new people and making new friends because she is just all about helping out and keeping people happy. Iris is more likely to ask you about your day than talk about her own. She will actually avoid talking about herself because she doesn't think she is anything impressive. She knows that she isn't going to be the belle of the ball or the one to beat. She's just average. Iris is a hopeless romantic. She's always wanted some sort of a prince to sweep her off her feet and carry her away to some far off land, but she would never act upon those wishes and even when presented with the chance is hesitant. Her mother is the one that had to force her to join the selection even though she didn't want to be leaving her behind.

THOUGHTS ON SELECTION: Iris finds the concept behind the selection romantic. She thinks that pulling young ladies into the castle and allowing them to experience such luxury, letting one of them become queen, is such a sweet and romantic concept that she could only dream of, but now that she's actually going to be a part of it, she is uncertain.
THOUGHTS ON THE NEW KING: Iris is rather neutral on her opinion of him. Yes, he seems handsome and charismatic and charming, but that's the only side of him she gets to see. For all she knows he's some sort of a wold in sheep's clothing. But yes, she is intrigued by him.
