Prologue: Reincarnation

Xie Yan Ling had cancer. That much was obvious at this point in time.

So he lay on the hospital bed, pale and hooked to wires connected to machines that never really helped and was just an excuse to keep him out.

He sighed and closed his eyes as tears welled up in his eyes.

He just wanted a family.

A family that he could care for, and would care for him as well.

His family may say they care, but they didn't. He knew. They just threw money at him for the hospital bills. But otherwise, there was no love... no compassion... no care. Heck, he's here lying on the bed dying but they have never visited. Not once.

He just wished he got to experience having a family.

He sighed, giving out his last breath as he closed his eyes softly and a beep swept through the room.

He blinked as a bright light shone through his eyes.

He groaned and rubbed his face before sitting up.

The sunshine that peeked through the curtains from the window perfectly hit his face when he lay. So that was probably like a substitute of an alarm clock since he saw none by the bedside. There was a clock on the opposite side though.

Looking around he seemed to be in a room, that much was already obvious. It was fairly large and seemed to have a lot— and he means a lot— of expensive things. Even looking inside the walk-in closet, he was sure every one of them were branded.

He sighed again at his ordeal.

He should be dead. In heaven or hell, or heck purgatory if any of them were even real. But here he is, in a room... looking different than he used to as he saw the full-body mirror by the dresser.

In contrast to his originally Chinese looks, he now had soft blonde curls that rested messily on his head and bright blue eyes that sparkled in the sun. He had fair skin and was about 5'2 as he would estimate.

He shuffled around the room to see anything else that may hint to what has happened.

In the drawers, he saw an ID card with a picture of him and the name Ian Marc Cheng. This made him confused. He looked by far to be American or at least not at all Asian. But how come his supposed last name was Chinese. He turned the card to see his phone number, age, address, and a gender which confused him again. 'Ger'? What in the world is that?

But before they could dwell into it, he heard a knock on his door.

"I-it's Wenduo..." said a small voice at the other side.

He tensed before slowly walking to the door, forgetting that he was wearing only pajamas, and slowly opened it revealing a cute little boy who looked about 3 or 4 years old with soft black curls, wide bright blue eyes, and plump smooth white skin.

The little boy's already wide eyes seemed to widen even more at the sight of him.

"Uhmm, Mommy...?" he said almost uncertainly.

What...?

Mommy?!?

This author has something to say:
I just realized that the newbies won't know what a 'ger' is >_>
Anyways, a 'ger' is basically like an Omega equivalent in an A/B/O universe. Except for heats, they don't get those
'Ger's tend to be somewhat different depending on the story, but the main focus of them is that they are males who can get pregnant and have a high fertility rate.
Hope that clears a little bit of the confusion for the new readers.
