The Next Day

Ciauna POV

I opened my eyes, stretching my legs out.

A pain shot through my body making me pull my legs back in instantly.

"Oh My God," I whispered out sighing.

I peeped beside me seeing Bri sleeping peacefully on the opposite side of the bed.

She snores like a grown man.

After all that occurred last-night, we decided that it was best for her to stay the night here.

I yawned, sitting up on the bed, staring at the wall.

My head is hammering and my body has this new found ache. Especially in my back and side.

I can't really explain it.

I bent my back in attempting to massage it.

But it wasn't doing me any good. So I eventually stopped.

This pain is unbearable. I need something to drop this shit down a notch.

I entered the bathroom in my room searching in the medicine cabinet looking for some ibuprofens.

I picked up the ibuprofens bottle accidentally dropping it.

I tiptoed peeping out of the door making sure I didn't wake up Bri with all the noise I was making.

She was already moving around in the bed so I went back in the bathroom picking up the bottle analyzing it.

"These will do," I whispered looking at the 600 mg tablets.

I exited the bathroom closing the door.

I sat the pills on my nightstand before heading to the kitchen.

"Ain't no cold water in this bitch," I whispered looking in the refrigerator.

All these sodas and no water.

I continued to search the fridge seeing that there was nothing that I wanted to drink.

I looked to my left seeing a case of water.

I grabbed a bottle of water off of the floor going back to my room.

Bri was no where in sight

"I left the room for 1 minute and this hoe then already disappeared," I whispered

I shook my head taking a seat at my vanity.

I put 1 ibuprofen in my mouth. Washing it down with some water.

"Oh she's in the shower," I whispered hearing the shower running.

I made my way back to the kitchen humming "Pink Matter" by "Frank Ocean."

I opened the bottom of the refrigerator taking out some eggs and butter.

I really don't know how to cook eggs that good so I'll have to let Bri cook them for me.

I looked in the top of the refrigerator seeing some chocolate chip waffles.

I grabbed four. Turning on the stove. Placing them on the pan. Wasting no time to pop them in the oven.

"I knew I was missing something," I said looking around.

"The sausages."

I don't really like bacon like that. But I'll take some out for Bri.

I sat at the dining room table taking my phone out of my pocket checking my messages.
