"Hey you're coming to my competition tonight right?" I ask my boyfriend Jonah at our lockers
"What competition?"
"Jonah! You forgot!"
Ugh he always does this to me! He never remembers anything important to me.
"No I'm joking duh. I totally know you're competing in... a um uh umm yeah okay I have no idea"
"I've literally told you this a million times. It's my math competition and it's super important"
"Oh yeah I knew that"
"Whatever Jonah are you going to come or not. The Mayors going to be there and if we win we get a lot of money and I just- I really would appreciate it if you were there"
"Of course I'll be there what time is it at?"
"6. You better show up this is super important to me"
"I won't miss it I promise"
"Good" I quickly kiss Jonah on the lips and walk away to my math class
I get to my class and immediately hug my best friend Zach
"Hey Zacharoni" I say sitting next to him
"Ky don't call me Zacharoni"
"Sorry well are you ready for our competition tonight"
"Omg I am super excited! So many people are going to be there for me."
"Really that's cool"
"Yeah who's coming for you"
"Well my mom and dad are in Europe so they can't come but I did invite Jonah and he said he will"
"Oh that's good. Maybe he can bring his friends so we have more support"
"Wow that's a really good idea. I'll definitely ask him. Anyways, we need to practice after school. We have to win"
"I know I know. But I know we're going to win i believe in us"
"Hell yeah!" We highfive And laugh as class begins to start
