it's now monday and i have to face everyone at school
on sunday there was a rumor going around about me and jonah and why we broke up and it all was saying that it was my fault we did
it didn't really effect me much because i know my truth, but it's just annoying
everyone's making fun of me online and it's not even funny
like they're trying to hurt me but it's not going to happen
i'm stronger then all of them and when i'm a successful mathematician making billions of dollars finding the cure for cancer with just numbers they'll be wishing they didn't make fun of me
"are you ready?" Zach asks me
"no but i can pretend right?"
we walk in together and people stare
i just roll my eyes and go to my locker
some girl comes up to me and i look at her
"what do you want" i say
"so like i was wondering if the rumor is true"
"what's the rumor? i know theres so many"
"you broke up with Jonah cause you're in love with your cousin"
"oh my god is he telling people that"
"yeah is it true"
"absolutely not. i broke up with him because he's abused me in every way and hes been cheating on me."
"wait really"
"yeah i don't know why he's saying that my cousin and i are close but not that close i'm pretty sure he's even gay"
"yikes i'm sorry about that you know you should tell people all that"
"i rather not. i don't like thinking about it. but seriously don't listen to the rumors they're all saying i'm the bad person when in reality i'm not"
"yeah i get it well i'm sorry everyone's saying this stuff about you, you don't deserve it"
"thank you" i smile and she walks away
i follow and go to my first class
again everyone's staring at me
i just ignore it and go in my seat next to Zach
"guess what everyone is saying about me" i say
"what?"
"i'm in love with daniel"
"oh my god! that's not even funny"
"i know i don't understand why he'd say that"
"he's an awful person you know that"
"ugh i didn't want any mess from breaking up with him"
"i know i'm sorry"
"i hate this"
"don't worry i'm sure in a few weeks or days it will be over"
"i doubt it. i knew breaking up with him would ruin my life"
