He knew his friends were worried for him, but he was scared for them. He had put them in accidental danger. He had mentioned his dad's fury and rage tantrums he had at the boy for as long as he could remember. It slipped out, he didn't mean for them to know. Now they were in potential danger. Mason cried, sobs being muffled by his pillow. Cam was trying to come in but Mason had locked the door shut. Mason sobbed and sobbed, Cam felt pitiful for the boy. "Mason, please unlock the door! Just open it, please! I won't come in unless you want me to, I just want to see you!" Cam said in worry. Mason got up and unlocked the door. "There. It's unlocked.." Mason said in defeat and sadness. Cam unlocked the door and looked at the boy. "Mason, we'll be okay. You'll be okay. We'll figure it out. We can get a restraining order against him if you'd like. Just please stop crying.." Cam said almost in tears. Mason sat up and looked at him with a tiny smile, and just said "Thank you."
