The Weed of Disagreement

Slinging across rooftops,

Climbing up the walls;

Hopping through the window,

And sneaking through the doors.

No matter how much you try to keep me out

I'll always get back in

Where you build concrete

I'll grow like sin.

Get out your garden scissors

I dare you - get them out!

Cut and cut, you miser

Cut and cut with doubt.

No matter how much you hack away,

No matter how much blood falls.

I'll rise back up to keep you at bay,

I'll keep my presence at moors.

So stomp upon your fallen foes

And slice and toss with foolish abandon.

But I'll visit revenge and give your death throes

A new version of painful branding.

You can push me down and throw me out,

Stab with all your might.

But I'm almost invincible - I know what I'm about.

Stab but I will not go down;

I'll fight!
