The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most

-Haley!I said while I enter her bedroom, Have you seen my car keys or did you take it?

She close her book and place it on her night table. She got up and goes to her desk. She open a little box and give me my keys.

-I took them to go to Lucas's, she said,I smirk while nugging her on the shoulder while she roll her eyes and laugh., Not like that sisi.

I sigh and start to go away but I stopped and turn to her.

-Do you want a ride to the gym?,I ask her.

It was Lucas First Game tonight and I know she have a crush on him. Plus he is her friend.

-Yeah sure.

She took her coat and we head to the Gym.

As I goes in the changing room, I saw nathan looking stressed, so I head toward him. I know that behind his hard-looking he is the most kindest guy in the world and he have a big heart.

-Hey how are you doing nate?,I said 

-Great, he said nervously

I sigh.

-Seriously nathan you 0kay?

He smile softly and put a piece of my hair behind my ear.

-Im okay just a little nervous.

-Because of Lucas?

-Yes I'm scared that he would take my place.

-He he ,i said trying to calm him down, He will never take your place, You're both good, thats a fact but he will never take your place nate. I promise you.

After that I goes in the changing room and put on my uniform. I got out of the changing room and meet with Lucas at the door of the gym. 

-Hey luke, ready for your first game ?

-Yeah , I guess.

-This isn't you're dream future isn't it?

He nod his head and I hug him. I know he is in a rough pass, and that's torturing me because he is my best friend since we were in kindergarden. We pulled away and smile at each other.

The game start and didn't go well, Lucas miss all of his shoots.

On the way home, I was singing a song when a car pull by.

-Hey, said natey, do you want a ride home?

-No thanks , I said while I continue walking.

But instead of continuing is way he park the car and rush out of it.

-Hey what's going on?

-Whats going on? Whats going on is that i love you natey and thats the problem.,I said finally going away without him.

I go right in my bedroom and cry most of the night.

We are in pcychology class and we are telling each other one word.

-Nathan, describe Savannah in one word,the teacher ask.

Nathan turn to face me but I look away.

-Lovely,he said.

A few oooohh took place in the class.

-Savannah describe Nathan in one word.

-Handsome, I said.

Nathan raise his hand again.

-I can describe Lucas is one word, Oh please no not now, Bastard

Lucas jumps on him and they start fighting. I got in the middle of the two and The fist of kucas accidently hit me in the face. A big silence was in the class. Lucas reach his hand for me but I back off and run out of the class.

I run in the girls bathroom. A few minutes later, nathan enter it.

-Go away natey.

Instead of answering he took me in his arms. I start crying.

After covering my blackeye with make-up, I head for the game.

I was gonna enter the changing room when a arm stop me. It was lucas.

-Im so sorry sav, he was on the verge of tears.

-Its okay come here.

I hug him and we start crying in each others arms.

Soon I was on the gym cheering when I saw that the jersey of lucas didn't have the name scott anymore I smile at him.
