Moments Worth Facepalming in Percy Jackson Fanfics

I need to stop these "Not An  Update" things, it's too cliché

Okay, I get sooooooooooooooo much hate on the whole "Percy not being cute" thing. Okay, I'm sorry that I don't agree with 99.9999999999999999999999999999% of the fandom, okay? But it is MY opinion, did I not say that eariler? Wait, let me go back to the disclaimer...

*Flashback*

This is a book of rants.

It is not based on any specific fanfics.

It is also not a hate book.

It is just what I (and a majority of the people I know) think and see in a PJO fanfic.

Of course I think Percy is hot, WHO DOESN'T? Well Piper, but Piper obviously has worse eyesight than Iggy (Or Isaac for you non-Max Ride fans), but I am more attached to the first series than the second, and Percy to me isn't really that hot in the first series. Now in the second series...

Everyone also keeps saying "CALYPSO FELL FOR HIM!" Do you guys know that Calypso falls for pretty much ANYTHING that lands on her island? Gods, a GUITAR could fall on her island and she would fall in love with it, sastisfying @CoralCat21's ship. Oh, I forgot Calypso is reading this... Hehe... Sorry..... CALEO FOREVES!

And then the "HAZEL THOUGHT HE WAS A GOD!" Okay guys, if OCTAVIAN carried a goddess into camp with him, I'm pretty sure Hazel would think he was a god because A PERSON CARRYING A FREAKING GODDESS LOOKS LIKE A FREAKING GOD, DO THEY NOT?

Then the "KINZIE ASKED HIM OUT!" Well it seems to me that the Amazons don't hang out with many boys and being compared to Frank at the time... Percy was irrestable.

And "REYNA LIKED HIM!" I honestly think that Percy just reminded Reyna of Jason, so that's that.

Hm, who else... Rachel. Ah yes, Rachel, okay.... He was the first demigod Rachel ever met, and being a mortal and stuff, Rachel obviously thought he was amazing because come on, this guy is just a monster killing machine!

Last but not least our lovely little straight as a circle Nico (and yes, I do realize that line contradicts an earlier rant I wrote but ALL FREAKING WELL, it flows well.)... Well, when he first met Percy, he was totally amazed because "ERMEHGERD HE IS LIKE MY MYTHOMAGIC GAME IN REAL LIFE, I MUST MARRY HIM!" Okay, not that last part (although half the fandom believes he thought that part), but c'mon: If the characters from your favorite game came to life, wouldn't you want to be besties with them, or even fall in love with them? Exactly. Now yes, I see your other argument: But he liked Percy after he quit the mythomagic game. First off:

1. Those feelings stay ya know, whether you like it or not.

2. We don't know when he started and stopped liking Percy, so YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID.

Oh, and how could we forget the totally flamazingly awesome Annabeth. They've been close friends since they were 12. That's all I need to say. News flash: If you've been close friends with a guy/girl for 5 years, you're more than likely to fall for them, hot or not.

So if you don't like my whole "Jason is cuter than Percy" thing (which I personally think Percy is WAAAAAY cuter, but I'm going by books) then DEAL WITH IT. That is NOT the only thing I talk about in this book. Like I said it's my opinion, and for Percy's looks my mind automatically thinks about PJO and not HOO. If it bothers you SOOO badly then skip the chapter, but this is my rant book, not yours. You can rant all you want about my opinion in your own rant book, but seriously, stop. I think he's hot but according to PJO (first series half), not so much...

Omg Leo's face looks so weird in the TLH graphic novel, I can't even read it. I think I'm just gonna print out some Viria pictures and paste them into my graphic novel.

Oops, getting off topic.

I will put a warning on the chapter with the "Percy ain't cute" stuff if it gets that bad.
