~La vie en rose~

Tonight was my night... I was going to perform in front of the whole school. My best friend Zoe forced me to do it, also because she wants me to, as she puts it, " Strut my stuff" in front of Jared. He's been my best friend since we were babies. I caught feelings for him our freshman year, he was just so dorky and so lovable.
       "Zoe, I can't do this!" I whisper yell to her as she's curling my hair. She smacks me playfully "yes you can (y/n)!"  I sigh " just sing 'La vie en rose' you sing that one so beautifully." As she makes me feel better. I look at myself, "does this dress make me look fat?" I ask Zoe, "no (y/n) you're body is BANGIN'" I giggle at her compliment " thanks Zoe" I say as I hug her. "NOW UP NEXT, (Y/N) (L/M)!" I hear the announcer as my heart drops. "You got this" Zoe says as she pushes me.
          I take a deep breath as I walk onto the stage as I could hear all the boys in the crowd cat calling me, I see Jared smiling like crazy " THATS MY BESTFRIEND!" I giggle a bit as I look at Zoe now I'm the crowd. I then look at the Dj to hit the music

I take a deep breath
Des yeux qui font baisser les miens
Un rire qui se perd sur sa bouche
Voilà le portrait sans retouches

I see Jared's face in shock as I blush slightly
Quand il me prend dans ses bras
Il me parle tout bas
Je voise la vie en rose
I throw a rose to Zoe
Il me dit des mots d'amour
Des mots de tous les jours
Et ça me fait quelque chose
Il est entré dans mon cœur
Une part de bonheur
Dont je connais la cause
I make my way down the stage as I playfully
Flirt with Jared

Et dès que je l'aperçois
Alors je sens en moi mon cœr qui bat
I lock eyes with him as I gently smile
As I show off my nails
" would anybody like some French tips tonight" I say into the mic as I giggle a bit. As I get a bit more cocky I lift his face up to mine as my lips graze his, leaving him blushing. I look over at Zoe who looks so shocked, as she's never seen this side of me.
I crawl back on the stage
C'est lui pour moi, moi pour lui dans la vie
Il me l'a dit l'a juré pour la vie
As I'm laying there I turn my head in his direction
I smile at him as I get up 
Alors je sens en moi
La vie
I grab a chair that was set for me
En rose
As I throw my head back as everyone starts applauding, I give a little bow as I run off the stage. Zoe and Jared meet me back stage as I hug Zoe " YOU KILLED IT OUT THERE!" As I smile I turn to Jared he just kisses you with no warning. He pulls away fast as I'm wide eyed, "oh shit (y/n) I'm sorry I-" I cut him off by kissing him back. As we pull away Zoe looks at both of us, "well it's about time, my god." I giggle as Jared grabs my hand as I smile.
