Simply Happy
When you thought everything in your world was coming to a devastating end
The people who loved you proved you wrong
They showed you things you’ve never seen before
Made you feel emotions you’ve never felt
And for the first time in a long time
You were happier than a child getting their first pair of light up shoes
You were held close to their hearts while others rampaged
Your enemies were jealous at the fact that you were finally happier than they were
They tried to pull you down with them
But you stood tall
And stayed strong
You were happy
You were living
You were loved by many while they fell into a pit of nothing more than negativity
Your smile was like a sword to their heart
A stab to the back
A painful memory to them
You proved them wrong
They said you’d never be happy
And now you can laugh at their misfortune
Laugh at the fact that they aren’t strong enough to move on like you were
They’re just jealous
Jealous because you are loved and they aren’t
Jealous because you are finally coming first place
Jealous because you are simply happy
