"You guys still haven't made up" Eli said sighing looking at me as I stood in front of a picture of me and Norton

"I don't know why he keeps avoiding me" I reply looking at my hands "I tried talking a couple times but he always does something to make me stop" Eli examined me for a bit "well this problem isn't solving it self and it has already been a month" he said in a matter of fact tone as I sigh and agree

"I'll leave, I have a client" I said softly getting up taking my bag and left my room

Leaving the house I see Norton also leaving "ah! Norton!" I call but he saw me and quickly went and talked to someone, I don't even know who that was

I felt a stab but sighed and left the place

"Jack? I'm here" I said knocking the door "ah thanks for coming, my sister and her fiancé are coming and I want to look presentable" I smiled and started working right away

"So how are you and Naib?" I ask giggling as he furrows his brows "it's... weird... I don't understand it, I am sure he isn't interested in a relationship with me tho"

"Don't do that to your face," I said softly as he sighed relaxing his muscles "thanks" I say as he smiles "I should be thanking you- mhfff" he got cut by my brush as I giggle "no need" I said as I put my things back in my bag and leave after getting payment

"I'll get an iced Carmel macchiato please" I order as the barista writes it down and and I pay, I go to the pick up area and put on my mouth mask and ear phones as I get my coffee and head out

"Ace..." I see Norton say stopping me, I took off my earphones and put down my mask "Nort?"

"...let's sit inside" he said as I look at my watch "yea let's"

We sit down facing each other, it was quiet for a while "I'm... sorry about the past month" he started as I stay quiet

"It... was complicated but I'm sorry I didn't take in your feelings into consideration" he said bowing, I look at him a bit surprised

"Norton, raise your head" I said gently as the male looked at me slightly scared, I look at sternly but softness was visible

"Don't apologize, what ever you have been going through I'm sure is worth the time" I said as he smiled guiltily but didn't talk

"Sorry and thank you," he said as he got up and left, I look at his back for a moment "it feels like that is all I've been looking at these days" I whispered to my self

"Aesop?" I look up to see my boyfriend looking at me with a coffee in hand

"Is our date supposed to start know?" I ask slightly snickering as he giggled "I just wanted coffee" he said

He sat down and sighed "what's wrong? You distressed" he said as he looked at me in concern

"It... isn't much... just problems between us in the house" I replied as he narrowed his eyes and shrugged

"Well if you say so" he said leaning back on his chair, we both stay quiet, it felt like a comfortable silence

"...Aesop... about Norton...." Joseph started to say looking at the ground

"... never mind" he said quickly taking back his statement, I look at him so for a moment but smile

I get up and go closer to him, I kiss the French on the lips and pull back "I need to leave, but don't think about it too much" he smiled softly as he nodded and I left
