Chapter 12: Julie meets Jill and Kendall, Down a Dancer

The next week at the studio, the moms and girls were in Studio A ready for another week and Abby and Cameron talked to them about the previous competition and Julie was standing with them.

"All right, let's talk about what's gonna happen this week, we are going to be headed--" Before Cameron could complete the sentence, the door that led to the front desk opened as the moms looked shocked on who was coming in as Abby and Cameron turned to the door,

"What's going on?" Julie asked, a confused look on her face.

"No clue." Cameron answered.

"What he said." Abby added and coming in was none other than Jill, but unlike the last time they saw her, she now had blonde hair.

"Hello, everyone." Jill greeted.

Abby and Cameron's eyes went wide at seeing Jill come in and they looked at each other.

"You have got to be kidding me." Cameron fumed.

"I know, right?"

"Isn't that the Jill lady you and your mother were telling me about at the competition in Akron two weeks prior?" Julie asked.

"Yeah."

"Abby, Cameron, can i talk to you?" Jill asked.

"Jill, we're in the middle of the pyramid." Abby told her. "You know how this works here."

"I know, i regret my decision going to Candy Apples and you all know that. It was a huge mistake on my part and i'd like for you both to find a spot for Kendall on the team like you two did once before." Jill said.

"Jill, we don't have time for this." Cameron stated to her. "We have solos and a group."

"I know that." Jill commented, then she looked at Julie. "Hello, i haven't seen you around here before. Who are you?"

"I'm Julie Martinez and i used to dance for Abby, i'm an old friend of Cameron's and you must be Jill Vertes, right?" Julie introduced herself to Jill.

"Yes, i am and it's nice to meet you." Jill shook Julie's hand. "How did you know who i was?"

"At the competition in Akron when you were with Cathy and your daughter Kendall was dancing." Julie stated.

"Now i get it." Jill looked back at Abby and Cameron. "I want to be at the competition with you."

Abby, Cameron and the moms all looked at each other in surprise. "I think my Kendall can fit in, she did it before and she can do it again."

"Jill, you have officially gone nuts." Cameron muttered as the girls were amused at the debating between Abby, Cameron and Jill.

"All i want is what's best for my daughter."

"We wanted what was best for Kendall and you didn't give us time to do that!" Abby exclaimed.

"Are you two gonna turn Kendall away knowing that she has talent and belongs in this group?" Jill griped.

"We're in the middle of rehearsal!" Cameron exclaimed as he put ran his hands through his long hair. "We cannot believe this."

"I think she's trying to look like Christi with that new hairdo." Julie stated.

"Yeah." Abby commented as Jill went to bring Kendall into Studio A and in Jill's left hand was Kendall's headshot and walked her to the girls, who all hug her and Kendall stood between Chloe and Mackenzie. "She deserves to be on the pyramid."

"Girls!" Cameron called as the girls turned to him. "We know you're happy to see Kendall back and all, but this isn't about friends! If you want to see Kendall, invite her over to your house if you want! This is my mom's business, like if i wanted to see Julie and her family outside of the studio, mom'd take me over to their house or invite them over to her house,"
