"Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!"
I smiled and closed the front door, crouching down to let my daughter, Katerina, jump into my arms. "Hey princess!" I said as I let her hug me tightly. "I missed you so much!" She said. I kissed the five year old's head as I moved her crazy hair out of her face. "You were good with Uncle Jimin right?" I asked.
She nodded, confirming as I saw Jimin round the corner. "Thanks for watching her." I told him. "Hey no problem! I had fun playing with her!" He said with a smile. I smiled softly as well as I picked Katerina up, her playing with my hair. "Where's Hueningkai?" I asked. Jimin sighed as he leaned on the doorframe. "Upstairs in his room. He's been up there since I got here."
I could hear the sadness in his voice. I sighed quietly before I saw Katerina reach for Jimin. "I'm gonna go talk to him. Can you watch her for a little longer...?" I asked. "Look, I consider her my own kid. Plus, I think Yoongi-Hyung is on his way to pick her up for the rest of the day." I nodded as I watched my daughter. Jimin took the tiny girl into his arms. "Let's go play dress up, huh?" Jimin said as Katerina cheered. I smiled st them before I slowly made my way upstairs.
I saw my son's door closed. I took a deep breath before I knocked slowly. "Hueningkai...? Can I come in...?" I asked softly. When I heard his quiet repsonse, I slowly opened the door. There I saw the 16 year old boy on his bed, his head hunched over. I noticed something in his hands.
"Hey bud..."
He glanced up at me before he looked down. "Hey dad..." He said quietly. His voice was hoarse. I slowly sat down next to him. "You doing ok...?" I asked softly. As expected, he shook his head no. "I feel like shit..." He said, me deciding not to scold him for cursing. I sighed and wrapped my arm around him slowly.
"I know, me too..." I admitted. I finally looked st what he was holding. It was a picture of him and Jungkook at an American baseball game, back when Jungkook has flaming red hair. Hueningkai was only about 6 when the photo was taken. "Can I see?" I asked softly. He looked at me before nodding softly. "Y-Yeah..."
I carefully took it to look at it closer. I smiled at my husband and son's happy expression. I looked back at Hueningkai as I gave a tiny smile. "I'm surprised you still have this." I said. He leaned his head on my shoulder. "It never leaves my nightstand..." He admitted. I sighed as I moved hair out of his face.
"You're starting to look more and more like your Appa..." I told him. I heard him sniff as he slowly put his hand onto the picture, his finger right under Jungkook's head. "I got zappa's favourite flowers. You wanna go visit him today...?" I asked quietly. I saw him look up st me. "Can I give him the flowers...?" He asked. I nodded and leaned over to kiss his head. "Of course you can."

I closed my door as Hueningkai made his way through the yard. I watched him carefully before he crouched down. I slowly sat down next to him. "Hey Appa..." I heard the boy's voice crack. I watched him carefully place the bouquet of flowers on the ground. "Dad got you your flowers....I hope they're pretty enough..." He said. I looked at my son, seeing tears in his eyes.
I slowly wrapped my arm around him. "It's ok..." I whispered to him. He sniffed and wiped his eyes shakily. "I miss you Appa..." The boy said. I watched him stare at the flowers before he slowly got up. "I-I'm gonna go wait on the car..." He said quietly. He gave me one last hug before he started walking off. I saw him wipe his tears as he tried to keep himself calm.
Then I turned back around. "Hey babe...." I started off. "How are you doing...? I hope you've been ok."
"Katerina is turning six soon. Can you believe that...?" I said with a chuckle. I looked back up at the flowers. Then I looked down. "We really, really miss you, Jungkook. All of us do..." I admitted. I let out a shaky breath as I tried to keep my composure. "Make sure you tell my mom I said hi ok....? I gotta get going so I can let Yoongi take our little princess for the night."
I stared at the stone in front of me.
Jeon Jungkook
Born:September 1, 2197
Passed: July 15, 2233A beautiful flower, plucked too soon
I leaned over to kiss the gravestone softly. "I love you so much, baby..." I whispered. I slowly wiped my eyes as I stood. I turned to leave when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I quickly turned around to find no one there. My eyes widened a little before I shook the thought out of my head and went back to the car where Hueningkai was.

"Two years..."
I turned my head towards my son. "What?" I asked. "Two years its been without him..." He said, picking at the food on his plate. I looked at him sadly. "You know we couldn't have helped it-"
"Why did he have to go?! Why couldn't have I gone with him?!" He suddenly yelled. My eyes widened at his sudden outburst. "Kai we couldn't do-"
"Why did he have to die?! Why did I survive but he couldn't make it?!" He screamed at me, tears streaming down his face. I saw the boy break down in front of me. "He sacrifices himself for you! He wanted you to live on!" I told him. "He should've let me die!! I would've been better off dead!"
"Now don't go off saying that! You know damn well that's not true!!" I yelled at him. "Your Appa cared so much about you! You are his flesh and blood!! How do you think he would like it if he found out you were saying this shit about yourself?!" I yelled. I saw him slowly sink down into his chair.
"When you came into this world, you were the light to his eyes. You were one of the best things to ever happen to him. Imagine if you would've died in that car accident but he survived." I told him. "He probably would've taken his own life so that you wouldn't be alone. He cared and still cares so much about you Hueningkai..." I told him.
I saw Kai's eyes sprout with tears. "Do not, blame yourself. Adorable your father's death...." I told him. He started to sob as he raced around the table and pulled me into his arms. I grasped onto him as I held his head to my chest. "I'm sorry dad...." He cried out. I softly kissed his head. "I know this is a very rough day for you, I know......But you gotta be strong..."
He slowly looked up at me. "You gotta be strong for him, for Katerina. You gotta be strong for yourself..." I told him. He sniffed and wiped his eyes and nose. I sighed before kissing his forehead. "Come on. You can come sleep in my bed tonight. You need to get some rest." I told him. "Can I stay home from school tomorrow...?" He asked. I slowly nodded as I gave him a tight hug.
"Only for tomorrow."
I closed his eyes and hugged me tightly, my keeping his head close. "I love you dad...." He whimpered. I rested my chin on his head. "I love you too, Jeon Hueningkai..."
As we hugged, I could feel a cold presence go through us. When I opened my eyes, I could N
