Omar's POV
Flashback

During the surgery, I felt my soul leave my body but not completely as I could still feel the presence of people. I blacked out and woke up feeling tied, numb and been moved. I moved my arms and tried ripping down whatever has blinded me but there was a sudden halt at the moving vehicle or whatever it was, I finally took it off and scanned everyone around me as they all looked at me with their mouths agape before I could say a thing, they all took off on their heels. I stepped down from the moving truck which was almost impossible as I felt a sharp pain at my abdomen, I ripped the remaining piece of white cloth I was wrapped in and saw a bandage over it with a light stain of blood but as I bend over, I bled more. I hopped into the driver's seat with the hope of knowing where I was as I drove, I realise that I was at the depth of Kaduna State as I was about to make a U-turn I was stopped by hoodlums and was driven away with them

"Mallam daga ina kake? (Mallam where are you from?)" One asked as I found it difficult to explain myself
"Wannan kamar daga kabari yake( This one looks like someone from the grave)" Said another as they all laughed

Twenty minutes after the ride, we were been chased by the police. Refusing to stop resulted to a bullet in the tyre, lost control as the three tyres screeched and caused a full halt

"Get on your feet bush man" One said as confused as I was, I ran with them into the bush, we got chased with flying bullets, I got hit and fell next thing I know I was right back at the hospital but this time with a handcuff

After my treatments, I was taken to the cell. I learnt that the hoodlums were the most wanted kidnappers, I explained to the officers that I had no idea about this but no one cared to listen. Worse of it, the kidnappers didn't admit that I was a victim of their kidnap. I stayed in jail for one and a half year and we were finally going to court so they could make me spend the rest of my life behind bars

There was a white man who listened to my dilemma and promised to help. He hired a professional lawyer and paid for all my expenses, I thanked him and he said the only way to show my gratitude was to follow him to New York, I had told him I had enough money to cover up the bills but it seemed like he had his way in Nigeria and was willing to let me go back to jail

He told me to cut all connection from home and every one I know or he'd make me pay, I really don't know what was about the man that sends chills down my spine anytime he glares at me. I worked in his company for months, his business was moving pretty well and I had saved more than enough to go back home and start a company. His birthday was few weeks away and I planned on telling him about going back

Minutes, days and weeks passed and it was his birthday. It was a huge celebration and every successful person was here. When the music had died, there were now tons of empty wine glasses and few people mainly his staff either mumuring or drunk and fast asleep. It was the perfect time to talk to him, I knocked on his door severally before getting a quick response

"Come in!" He said in his native accent (Australia). He laid with girls who were butt naked as I looked away, he chuckled and told them to excuse us as they obliged. I had a brief discussion with him that I wanted leaving, he tried stopping again but this time being the heir to his company

"Don't you have a child?" I asked "I can't impregnate a woman" He replied "Ohh that's sad, I'm sorry!" I apologised regretting my question "It's okay. I don't find them attractive" He said "Babies?" I asked confused as he laughed "Women" He replied sticking a cigarette into his mouth and lighting it
"The first time I laid my eyes on you, I know I was going to do anything to make you mine" He puffed "After watching you shower everyday on cctv, I know I was damn right about being attracted to you" He said "There have been a camera all along? You're gay?" I asked all at once as he grinned
