It had only been two weeks out of the two months that you and Tom had to spend a part. He had a press tour for Spider-Man Homecoming and you had a press tour for your television show Riverdale.
"I'm gonna go FaceTime Tom." You sighed, leaving the cafeteria that was behind the stage of the next panel.
Everyone knew how much you loved your boyfriend. You two had been together for three years. It wasn't a shock when all of your co-stars realised you had deep separation anxiety.
"Hey sweet-heart." Toms voice was like an angel.
"Hey, what state are you in now movie-star." You teased knowing he absolutely hated the nickname.
"Very funny, I'm in Colorado, where are you in the world missy?" He asked.
"Sydney, Australia." You sighed knowing he was thousands of miles away. It wasn't that you were ungrateful for the opportunity to be there because you were more then blessed to be in the position that you were in. It was because who you'd usually have by your side for most events, was in another continent.
"Cole actually called me." You raised an eyebrow at Tom.
"You've not been doing well have you?" He asked and you hung your head in shame.
"Y/N why didn't you tell me? I don't want my girlfriend crying and not telling me." Tom frowned and you felt guilty.
"I didn't realise how homesick I'd get." You admitted, trying not to cry. It had been a thought two weeks, not just because Tom wasn't there but the consistent travelling had drained you already.
"You've done this before babe, even longer in some other cases. But I understand, I've been feeling fairly shit without you." Tom admitted.
"Been in a mood for about two days!" Harry called out, making you chuckle.
"Hi Harry!" You beamed through the camera.
"Hi Y/N, please cheer him up!" Harry told you.
"I'll try." You said and then he left. Leaving you and Tom back to the original conversation.
"I really miss you." Tom sighed.
"I miss you too Tom. Hopefully we'll be in the same state soon enough. Don't think I can go much longer without seeing that gorgeous face." You smirked, boosting his eager.
"We're living the best lives." Tom smiled.
"Isn't it crazy how it's literally afternoon here and night time there?" You asked your boyfriend. It was mental how time zones worked.
"That is crazy darling. I've got you a few gifts back here." He moved the camera to show you endless bags.
"You didn't have to! You know I hate when you spend your money on me." You groaned but appreciated the effort.
"Babe stop. The more you tell me not too, the more I'm gonna go and buy." He insisted.
"Well lucky for you, I've done the exact same." You flipped the camera and his grin was so wide.
"Great minds think alike babe." Tom chuckled. KJ knocked on your door.
"Y/N we've gotta be on stage in ten." He smiled.
"Oh hey Tom!" KJ waved.
"Hey mate, good luck tonight!" Tom waved back.
"Cheers mate, hope your panel went well!" KJ and Tom had such a great friendship, despite you playing Archie's love interest in the show.
"It did thank-you!" Tom waved him off and KJ gave you five to end the call.
"Well that's my call." You smiled half heartedly.
"I love you babe, call me whenever you get upset okay? I'll always be there if you need a shoulder to cry on, especially if you get homesick."
