I Woke To Him Standing Over Me. I Was Scared No Where To Run. He Grabbed Me & Dragged Me To The Car & Took Me Home. I Didn't Know What To Do. When We Got There The Cops Were There. He Made Me Lie & Tell Them Everything I Told Them Was A Lie. He Raped Me A Soon As They Left. He Did It Over & Over & Over Again. I Cried So Hard I Couldn't Move. About 4Hours Later I Could Start To Feel My Body Again. I Slowly Got Up & Packed Things In A Duffle Bag. I Took My Money Stash & Sneaked Downstairs. I Looked At My Strung Out Mother & Grabbed Her Car Keys & Just Got In Her Car & Drive. I Drove All Night I Didn't Know Where I Was Going But I Drove. I Drove To My Brothers Hiding Spot It Was Down A Dirt Rode. It Was Scary At Night. But The Only Place I Could Go. I Walked In The Cabin It Was In Good Shape Surprisingly. Thank God The Water & Lights Were Working. I Took My Bags In The Room & Took A Shower. I Woke In The Middle Of The Screaming Thinking My Dad Found Me. But It Was A Dream At This Moment I Wished Joey Was Here To Rub My Back. I Laid Back Down & Slowly Went To Sleep.

I Took A Hot Shower Then Got Dressed In My Usual Hoodie & Sweats. I Folded Up The Clothes Mrs. Ortiz Gave Me & Put Them In A Bag With The Shoes. I Got In My Moms Car & Drove To School. You Would Think I'd Drive To A New Place & Start Over But I Promised My Self I'd Finish School For Marcus & Brandy. I Drove To School & Walked In I Seen Joey Leaning On His Locker Just Staring Off Into Space. I Gave Him The Bag & Just Grabbed My Books & Went To Class. He Was Screaming My Name Again. He Sat Next To Me In Class & Kept Trying To Talk To Me. After 45Minutes Of Him The Bell Rung Finally. I Ran To The Library & Sat All The Way In The Back. No One Ever Goes Back There. He Came In Whispering Me My Name. No One But Me & A Few What Dawn Would Call Nerds & Geeks I Call Them People. I Could See Him Searching I Slowly Got Up & Began To Sneaky Out When One The Guys Sitting Down Said "Hey Vicky" Loud Enough To Be Heard By Him. I Ran Out & Went To The Girls Bathroom. Only To Bump Into Dawn Making Me Fall In The Door Way.

"Look What We Have Here Girls The School Murder"

"I Didn't Kill Them" I Scrambled To Get Up. She Threw My Books Back On The Ground. They Laughed & Walked Away. I Looked Up & Seen Joey Helping Me. I Went To My Locker & Put My Books Away. He Was Still Following Me, I Got In My Mothers Car & Drove Off To The Cabin. I Hope He Wasn't Following Me. I Didn't Want Him To Die For Me.

I Got To The Cabin An Hour Later. No Cars Behind Me Thank God. I Walked In Side & Just Walked Around. I Found My Grandparents Old Photo Album. I Was Looking Through It, I Wasn't To Surprised To Find It After They Gave The Cabin To My Brother. I Seen Bright Headlights Outside & I Grabbed An Old Baseball Bat. They Opened The Door & I Hit Them & Ran To The Room & Locked The Room Door. They Banged On The Door Yelling My Name. I Packed My Things & Snuck Out The Window. I Ran To My Mom Car & Got In. The Guy Came Out It Was My Dad I Drove Away So Fast. I Didn't Know Where To Go. I Started To Think My Grandma On My Mom Side Lives In Miami But How Would I Get There. I Didn't Have Enough Money For Gas Or A Plane Ticket Or Even A Train Ticket. I Had No Choice But To Ask Joey. I Couldn't Remember Where He Lived I'd Have To Wait Until Tomorrow. I Went To Run Down Motel. Its All I Could Afford.

I Woke Up To Yelling & Screaming. I Was Scared To Shower. I Washed Up & Got Dressed. I Went To School & There He Was At My Locker Waiting. I Walked Over To Him Before He Could Say Anything I Pulled Him Outside. I Took A Deep Breath.

"I Ran So You Won't Die For Me. I Refuse To Let Someone Die For Me. I Need To Leave. I Have A Grandmother In Miami I Called Her & Told Her Everything. She Told Me She Can Only Send Me Half The Money For A Plan Ticket. You Done A Lot For Me But Can You Do One Last Thing & Loan Me Some Money To Get There I'll Send It Back."

"Im Not Going To Die. My Dad Can Help You Trust Me Ok We'll Go To Your House Get The Rest Of Your Stuff Then Go To My House Ok."

I Just Nodded & Walked To My Moms Car. We Drove To My House, I Held My Breath Unlocking The Door. Joey Followed Me Inside. It Looked A Mess Food Containers On The Floor & A Few Flies. I Went Up To My Room It Was Trashed Of Course. I Just Grabbed A Bag & Started Filling In With Clothes, Joey Stood In The Door Watching Out For My Dad. I Packed Every Last Thing In My Room. I Even Packed All Of What Was Left Of Brandy Things & We Put It In His Car. He Went To Start Up The Car & I Went To My Parents Room & Kissed My Mother Forehead. She Woke Up & Smiled At Me.
