Thomas when the maze does closed.
You were a runner, Thomas was training to be one and the two of you were going out. Thomas's feelings for you were strong and he always worried about you. He would wait for you outside the doors everyday so that he could see that you back in the Glade safe.
You were late. You were supposed to back an hour ago but you weren't. Now a group of Gladers were standing with Thomas at the doors, waiting. A low rumble sounded and the doors started to move but you were no where to be seen.
Thomas made to run into the Maze but Alby and Gally held him back. He tried to push them away but it was no use. He strained as the doors were almost close. And there you were, sprinting towards the Glade but the gap between the doors was way too small for you to go through.
"(Y/N)!" Thomas shouted but the doors closed. Thomas stopped struggling and Alby and Gally let go of him. He stood stock still, watching the doors, willing them to open again. Tears filled his eyes.
"I'm sorry, Tommy." Newt sighed and placed a hand on Thomas's shoulder as he fell to his knees, sobbing.
