During the battle against apocalypse you had been the one that sensed that Warren didn't really want to be there and convinced all the other X-Men that they should let Warren come to the school, Charles agreed while the others were very weary. Ever since then Warren had a huge crush on you.
The pair of you were at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and it was the evening. Your room as opposite Warrens and he had decided to ask you out, since you were friends and he really liked you.
Warren picked up a bottle of vodka, drank a fair amount and put it back in his draw, "Right, Warren, just go up to her and ask her out." He said to himself, nodding he walked towards your room.
