Hinria got inside the police car and the officers took her away to the station. Hinria only trembled in fear and gritted her teeth
I didn't do it! I didn't do it! I didn't do anything!
The police arrived at the station and grabbed Hinria taking her away. They took her to the interrogation room and made her sit down. Hinria only stayed seated as she looked down
This is bad! This is really bad! I have to convince them that it was them and not me! Shit! Was Sasha right? Damnit...
"Bullshit..." Hinria mumbled. After a few minutes, the detective walked inside the room. Hinria only looked down not bothering to look up at the man's eyes
"So Hinria Qin...why did you kill her?" The man asked as he took a seat
"I didn't kill her at all..." Hinria said sternly
"Where is your proof? You're the only one that was there. Your fingerprints are on the knife that is stained with the victim's blood" The man said
"They framed me!" Hinria said
"They? Who framed you?" The man asked
"Shai Higashi and Himeko Momokino" Hinria said
"What?" The man asked
"You have to believe me! Listen this may sound crazy but those two are crazy as hell! They're psychopaths!" Hinria said
What the hell is she talking about? Psychopaths?
"Psychopaths? Seriously?" The man asked
"Believe me! They are! They were the ones torturing Riana!" Hinria said
Come on you fucking asshole! Believe me! I didn't do it!
"There is no way that they've done it. Miss Momokino has never committed anything wrong and as for the Higashi...she left the family. She may be the daughter of that crazy bastard Shailung but after his death...she had never committed any crimes. Besides...she helped out with those thieves who tried stealing a jewelry store. Shai Higashi...isn't like him" The man said
Hell yeah she is like him! You haven't seen her crazy side you stupid bastard!
"Wh-what? But she is! You should've seen her! She was laughing like a maniac!" Hinria said
Hm? Wait...this young lady used to date Shai Higashi. Could she be wanting revenge all because she's jealous that she got replaced?
"Miss Qin...are you blaming those on them for...revenge?" The man asked
"Wh-what? Revenge for what?! I didn't do anything!" Hinria said as she growled at the man
"Miss Qin...you use to date Shai Higashi...right?" The man asked
Shit! Ugh...why did I have to be caught in this mess...
"What? Wh-why are you bringing that up?" Hinria asked as she glared at him
"Am I right or what?" The man asked. Hinria looked down and gritted her teeth
"Y-yes sir..." Hinria said
"So...wouldn't you be trying to blame it on them just because you're jealous?" The man asked
"J-jealous?" Hinria asked
"Yes...many people do crazy things because of jealousy" The man said
And those people are them! They're the ones doing crazy things!
"B-but I didn't do it! I'm not jealous!" Hinria said. The man only shook his head and leaned back in his chair
We're getting nothing from her...
"Do you know the victim you killed?" The man asked
"Of course not! I only knew her name because she was Shai's childhood bully! Shai knows her! Just ask her and you'll believe me!" Hinria said. The man only sighed deeply and stood up from his chair
This is hopeless...
"Alright. I will have a word with the Chief about this. Let's see what he has to say about this but this doesn't mean that you're off the hook..." The man said sternly as he glared at her
"Believe me...I didn't do it. It was them and I am not blaming them because I'm jealous but because someone has to stop them. They are crazy psychopaths and they will kill anyone and I mean anyone..." Hinria said
"You'll be locked up for now..." The man said as he stood up from the chair then walked to the door. The officer walked inside grabbing Hinria and taking her to the cells to keep her locked up. The detective walked to the Chief's office to talk to him about the case
"Sir...we must talk" The detective said and walked inside his office
"Is it about that woman's death?" The Chief asked
"Yes sir" The man said as he took a seat in front of his desk. The Chief looked at him and leaned back in his chair
"What about it? Has she said anything?" The Chief asked
"Nothing useful sir" The detective said
"So why did you come here? What for if you don't have any useful information about the case?" The Chief asked
"But that young lady has only been saying that it wasn't her and that someone framed her for it" The detective said
"And who framed her?" The Chief asked
"She's been saying that it was Himeko Momokino and Shai Higashi" The detective said
"What? Hahaha that has to be a joke or something" The Chief said as he chuckled softly
"I know that's what I thought as well. I believe she is blaming on them because of one reason..." The detective said
"And that reason is?" The Chief asked
"Jealousy sir. Hinria Qin used to date Shai Higashi and after a while she replaced her with Miss Momokino" The detective said
"Hm? Now that is a reasonable explanation" The Chief said
"Yes but the attacker said she knows nothing about the victim. She said the only reason she knows her name is because of Shai Higashi saying that the victim is her childhood bully" The detective said
"Very well. It seems we have to go after Miss Higashi to find some more answers about our victim" The Chief said
"We'll start looking for her" The detective said as he stood up from his seat
"Alright" The Chief said
