Egg Story Rewritten

Part 2

"Why are you saying this?" Arnold asked, confused. Why was Big Patty defending Helga like this?
"Just take what I said into consideration. Please." Patty insisted.
"Alright." Arnold said skeptically.
The bus came and Arnold found an empty seat to sit on.
Helga then gets on the bus an sits next to Arnold.
"Look Arnold... I'm not going to ridicule you. I want to get along for once." Helga said.
Wow. Looks like Patty had a point. Arnold thought.
"I agree." He said.
"We'll take care of the egg together." Helga said.
Meanwhile, at Curly's house...
"How about we take the egg skydiving? Or free the animals at the zoo with it?" Curly suggested.
"We have to be careful with the egg, Curly!" Eugene said.
"Ugh, fine! You're no fun." Curly said.
"What safe things do you wanna do?"
"We could watch TV I guess."
"Okay."
20 minutes later...
Curly's POV:
I got bored of watching the channel we were watching. So I reached for the remote.
But Eugene reached for the remote as well.
Our hands touched, and he started to hold my hand.
What was going on?
Eugene smiled and then kissed me.
I was so confused. I thought I was only into girls! But somehow kissing Eugene thrilled me. But deep down, I think I was always intrigued by him in... some way.
We broke the kiss.
Back to third person POV...
"I... I couldn't control myself." Eugene said awkwardly.
"I take back what I said about you being no fun." Curly said.
(A/N: sorry if that surprised you or weirded you out or something but yes, I do ship Curly and Eugene.)
Back to Helga and Arnold...
"Can we take the egg to your house? My house is... um... having remodeling done. Yeah. That's why we can't take the egg to my house." Helga said awkwardly.
"Sure. Arnold said."
Why does something seem suspicious? Arnold thought.
Being nice seems hard to do right now. But I have to be. For him. Helga thought.
Arnold and Helga arrived at the boarding house.
"Hey Shortman! Is this your girlfriend?" Arnold's Grandpa said.
"No Grandpa, she's my partner for a school project." Arnold said.
"So.. what do you want to do with the egg?" Helga asked.
This seems hard. But I'm doing fine. Helga thought.
"Let's just hang out here for a few hours. I'll keep the egg here when you go go home." Arnold said.
"Sounds like a plan." Said Helga.
Honestly... her not being sassy is weird and confusing! Arnold thought.
Arnold went up to his room and called Gerald.
Helga waited outside where she couldn't hear their conversation.
"Gerald... I don't know whether to be relieved or surprised." Arnold said.
