Chapter Fifteen : Escape.

[  Present Day ]

" What?. Wait? Hold on." Monica, Jimmy's mom said with a puzzled look on her face. Henry, Jimmy's dad looked at Jimmy with the same look on his face and my mom looked taken back by the sudden confession by Jimmy.

What am i doing? Everyones was looking at Jimmy for answer like i was doing not to long ago. Have i really changed?. What am i so afraid of? The cats out of the bag so there's absolutely nothing holding me back, so why am i just standing here? Why aren't i saying anything? Why am i letting Jimmy take everything for me?.

Then like a strong gust of wind memories after memories of what happened last year and memories of not to long ago all came crashing down in my mind. Everything Eric has told me, Ms.Claire and things that me and Jimmy went through was lingering in the back of head pushing me ever so slowly to finally take that step i've been meaning to take to finally stand next to Jimmy as equals.

[ There's no Shame in being weak the Shame is in staying weak. ]

" Its true, Jimmy and i have been seeing each other for awhile now since we graduated from Middle school last year." I finally said it, I actually said it and boy did it feel good. I stood next to Jimmy holding his hand intertwining our fingers together as we faced our parents. " We—or more like i been meaning to tell you for awhile now but i was scared that you might hate us. Jimmy's been  ready for awhile now but i've been the coward who wasn't ready. Please, Please don't hate Jimmy if you got to hate someone put it on me." Jimmy looked at me with a concerned look on his face like he didn't want me to take anything. Our parents looked at us confused and very lost to what was going on.

" I'm sorry but why would we hate you?." My mom asked rubbing the bridge of her nose.

" Yeah, we're kinda of confused here too." Monica, Jimmy's mom said looking at her husband with a concerned look.

" We're gay and we're dating." Jimmy and i said simultaneously.

" Jinx." I peeked over my Mom's shoulder to see that Eric was now standing in the doorway. I glared at him which made him grin but clearly he didn't get the message that i was telling him to get out.

" Honey." My mom said placing a hand on my shoulder pulling me out of my thoughts. " How do i say this?. We know already." My mom blurred it out.

Jimmy and i stared at them with widened eyes while Eric being the jerk that he is bursted out laughing in the background this earned him glares from both me and Jimmy that instantly quiet him.

They knew and never said anything?. I was so worried about telling them and that they'll hate us when they already knew about our secret/not so secret relationship apparently,but how? When did they find out.

" We've known for awhile now Jimmy i mean we kinda felt that something changed between the two of you." Jimmy's mom said a small smile plastered on to her face.

" We didn't want to be rude and just come at you so we waited for you two to come to us and tell us yourself." Jimmy's dad followed up right after his wife.

" We could never hate you guys. We love you to the moon and back because your our children and you mean the world to us. We don't care who you like, be it man or woman we just want you to be happy and grow up to be amazing and successful human beings in life. Next time we'd like it if you were just upfront with us from the get go, don't be scared to approach us because we my react differently then you might expect. We meant what we said our love for your is unconditional that's how a parents love should be." My mom said a huge smile on her face as she pulled me into her embrace hugging me super tight. Jimmy's parents did the same rocking him back and forth showering his cheeks with kisses.
