Jaydas POV

It was 1 day before prom and I was at the store trying on dresses with my mom .

Me and Lucas decided to wear Gold and Black .

I came across this dress that was long and black and had a slit up the right leg up to the thigh .

It was absolutely gorgeous .

I took it and tried it on .

Lord it was so pretty.

I walked out and let my mom see it .

"I love it baby girl! it's so cute" she laughed and smacked my butt as i walked back into the dressing room

Shes such a fool 😂.

I modeled around in for a second before slipping it off and putting it back on the hanger .

I walked out and to the counter .

"Did you find everything alright today?" She asked

"Yes! We did" my mom said back .

"Ooh I love this dress , it would look perfect on her" she said pointing at me .

"Thanks" i smiled at her .

"Well your total is $255.89" she said while my mom tapped in her pin and signed the screen .

She put the dress in a bag along with the receipt .

We left out the store and headed to find some gold accessories and some heels .

Meanwhile ....

• Lucas POV •

"Moooom it looks fine 😒" i whined while she kept messing with my Tux .

Like leave me alone already .

I had on a white collard button up shirt with the black tuxedo jacket and black slacks. I had a gold watch on and a gold chain.

Niggas was lookin sharp . 😼

"Oooh my baby is growin up" my mom said looking like she was on the verge of tears .

Keep in mind it ain't even prom day , it's the day before and she already about to cry .

That's my mom for ya .

I took off my stuff and hung it up .

I been went shopping , I know Jayda was supposed to go today .

I decided to text her .

J: Just got home wbu

L: Nun mom just got the hotel room and stuff . We got ours right next to Mariah , yo lil bestfriend 😂

J: Oooh yesssss we finna get turnt . Who else is close by ?

L: The whole squad 😂

J: Now we might just get kicked out cause all of us on the same floor won't be pretty 😑

L: You ain't tellin no lies .

J: You know Lo is crazy as shit so imagine what he gon do then we got Meech ass and you know him and Lo is like the dynamic duo . Foh😂

L: Thats true 😂

J: Tomorrow gon be a crazy ass night .

L: Mhm it is 😏

J: Byeeee Lucas 😂😘

I threw my phone down and and walked over to the bathroom .

And to think , a nigga gon be graduating soon .

I remember going from nothing to something .

I grew up to become something and I have a mindset .

Now I got everything on lock , imma focus on a career for my self .

All these thoughts ran through my head as I looked in the mirror .

• Jaydas POV •

I just finished getting my hair straightened.

I got my ends dipped honey blonde and its soooo cute 💕.

I got everything I need now .

My mom picked me up from the salon and she was in complete shock .

"My baby" she smiled .

Damn , the bond I got with my mom is like no other .

It's us til the end .

When we got home , I ran up to room and tried on everything and just looked in the mirror .

It made me cry .

Seems like yesterday I was learning how to crawl .

I held the heart locket my mom gave me when I was 4 .

I cried even more .

My mom came in and just hugged me .

I took my stuff off and got ready for my night tomorrow .
