A week later

Ava POV

We are at the courthouse and my mom Really said her blackness up in here I just let her cause she has a point no man should put there hands on a women ...he was never a man in the beginning

Michael POV

Ava is at the courthouse and I hope everything is going well for her and I hope and pray that she get justice for that I still feel bad for her that she had to go though that ....So I am here waiting on her call or she might come over

End of Court

Ava POV

Well we finally have justice he is going to jail and I was t scared of him when he jumped at me I just stared at him ...my fear of him is long gone and he noticed it so I took my mom home and thanked her for coming I know her blood pressure is up on her

Ava drove off and went to Michael house to tell him the news ...once she pulled up she got out of the car and knocked on the door

Michael got up to answer the door and it was Ava

Ava: Hey

Michael: Hey how did it go

Ava: it's was ok ...he's finally in jail so we got justice

Michael: well that's good

Ava: I know

He closed the door as she walked in and they went to the kitchen

Ava put a ice pack on her eye and it was going down

Michael: well at least it's going down

Ava: I know I had to show my eye to the judge

Michael: What happened

Ava: well my mom was raising hell in the courtroom to where they had to calm her down and I just let her go at it and the judge said that he has life in prison

Michael: So that means

Ava: he's never getting out yes

Michael: ok

Ava: But I hope my mom will be ok

Michael: What

Ava: She has high blood pressure when I gave her a hug she was burning up

Michael: oh that's bad

Ava: I know she's going to be calling in a minute and is it ok if I gave her your house number

Michael: of course

Ava: ok just making sure

Michael: it's fine your mother is sweet anyway

Ava: I know ...Damn I have a headache

Michael: Here you go

Ava: you are always prepared aren't you

Michael: yes

Ava: thanks and the phone is about to ring

She took her medicine and the phone ringed Michael went to answer it and it was Ava mother ...She was asking Michael if her daughter is ok after leaving the courthouse

Michael: ok you as well ...Thank you ...goodnight

Ava: What she wanted

Michael: to make sure if you were ok after you guys left

Ava: yes I'm fine

Michael: I know I told her that

Ava: I don't feel like going home so can I stay here for tonight

Michael: yes you can

Ava: ok ...uh where's your 🚿

Michael: come on I'll show you

They walked to his bedroom and he showed her the bathroom ...she took a 🚿 and washed up she was done for today anyway specially after the day she had with her mother

Michael: I made us dinner

Ava: Thanks I'll be out in a minute

Michael: Alright

He went back downstairs and fixed their plate

Ava got out the shower and dried off then she went back downstairs

Michael: Time to eat

He pulled her chair out for her and they began eating ...after they were finished they cleaned up and Michael went to 🚿...Ava had falling asleep

Michael walked out the bathroom after brushing his teeth and got in bed ...he looked at Ava eye and it was going down so he kissed her on the forehead turn the light off and went to sleep

Next Morning

Ava POV

I was downstairs making breakfast and I still have my night clothes on it's nothing but a lot T-shirt ...let me tell you what I'm making blueberry pancakes sausage grits and Hashbrowns with some orange ... the sausages weren't done yet that's when I felt arms around me I knew it was Michael

Michael POV

I came downstairs and Ava had it smelling good in here so I came up behind her

Michael: Morning

Ava: morning

Michael: that smells good

Ava: I know ...well here you go

Michael: Thank you

She poured him some orange juice and started to clean up the kitchen

Michael: this is really good

Ava: I know...are the grits ok

Michael: there perfect

Ava: great

The mailman pulled up and Ava went to check the mailbox

Ava: Michael you have mail from your fans

Michael: Alright

He loved receiving mail from his fans and the love they give him

Michael: I love my fans so much

Ava: I know

Michael: this is for you

Ava: ok

She opened the mail and her heart broke when she read it...the glass fell out of her hand ...Her cousin passed away from kidney failure

Michael: what's wrong

She ran to the bathroom and cried Michael picked up the letter and felt bad for her

Michael: Ava opens up

She opened the door and he walked in

Ava: Everything we did to save her

Michael: I'm sorry about your loss

Ava: it's ok she's in a better now ...we tried to find her a kidney but nobody didn't have our blood type

Michael: which is

Ava: Type A ...But now that she gone I can't do nothing about it

Michael: it's ok

Ava: I'm not gone be myself at her funeral

Michael: I'll there to support

Ava: I know

Michael took her out to keep her occupied and it worked then they went back to his house and made dinner ...Michael was in the shower

Ava: Perfect timing dinner is ready

Michael: Thanks

He fixed his plate and ate then after they were done they went upstairs and got in bed

Ava: Goodnight

Michael: Goodnight

He turned the light gave her a kiss and went to sleep
